Well as a point of clarification, the link broke because I was trying to adjust the length without taking it off the ball first. User error, not kit error.

Nevermind, I guess you mean the X7 is vertically shorter, but the boom is longer. Got it.

Isnt one reason for the turnbuckle to be able to adjust the length w/out popping the linkage?

The X7 is a solid bird, it can obviously handle the weight, it is just so surprising that it is the smaller and the heaviest. And I challenge anyone to question the crash ability of the Synergy. I beat mine up badly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My build so far..5000 turnigy packs barely fit.Had to push the pack all the way back. Canopy is very narrow upfront. I dont use the front canopy mounts, just epoxied the fronts into canopy.I left my motor wires out so I can easily unplug and work on heli( Might hide later like everyone else). Debating on doing custom length servo wire with crimper. My X650 with stretched boom will be done tomorrow. .

Turnigy packs are some of the largest packs on the market.

Any of you lucky guys got a T-Rex 600 Pro you could take a couple of snaps next to?
Would like to get a sense of scale. The X7 strikes me as quite a small looking 700 and just wanted to get a couple of pics against a known reference! Cheers!

Can't help you with a 600. But I had it next to a 7HV today. It was about 1/2 inch lower at the head block and 3/4 longer from rotor button to tail shaft.
