Default Special Align Pack...

Howdy Heli Freaks!

I cannot decide on the Align 550e kit, the one that comes with the Align Battery or the other without.

I tried searching all over the net in regards to the Align lipos, are they good and at what charge rate can be charged?

The pack is 5200 40C 6s.

Or should I put the $70 towards another lipo?

Cheers

If you can get those packs for $70 that is a decent price. I wouldn't worry about quality, packs are what they are. They are made all over the place and what you get is usually random even whey you buy "brand name" packs.

As usual I wouldn't recommend charging more than 2c regardless, and any pack can handle that. If that's not fast enough for you then parallel charge more packs is all. Get yourself 4 packs to start, then later get 4 more. You'll be flying all day

I have always been under the impression that there are very few places in the world that actually produce lipo cells. For that reason I have never completly understood why some companys claim their lipo packs can be charged at such elevated rates. Is there actually a difference in the cells?

Then again, I am about as far away from a battery expert as a person can get.

Cheers boys.

I wasn''t sure if the Align was up to scratch and if I was better of putting that money towards a Gens Ace by adding another $30...
