Default wobble on pitch stop

when i try to elevator tic toc/ rainbow, i get a wobble/wallow when i change the pitch positive to negative and from negative to positive. I can't get it to just hard stop, it will try to correct a bit, usually leaning to one side or the other.

I've tried messing with all the dials and pitch boost, but can't seem to get rid of it.

this is my X5, 2500 headspeed. I can crank my pot 1 gain up and not get bad tendencies. Not sure what to do with pot 2.

suggestions?

Have you checked all the mechanics? No vertical play in the main shaft, loose links?

Is pitch boost off, i recall someone else having issues with Tic-Tocs and pitch boost?

You might want to check your setup step 'G'. on this step, the swash needs to be perfectly flat ...

Mine used to wobble a bit when i did rainbows, sudden stops, etc ... plus piros were not that flat. found out that my swash at mid stick wasn't that flat. after correcting it, now my heli stops nicely and piros really well along the vertical axis

cheers, khan

PS i am assuming mechanically your heli is 'sound', and there is not much play

how is the beast mounted flat or vertical? my fusion is doing the same thing, tiny and sometimes large wobble during transition on ele rambows. its really annoying. mine was mounted vertical and today i moved it flat. on all of my other helis i mount it flat and have never seen this until i mounted on its side. if this fixes my issue ill post back if not ill try to center the swash better like was posted.

I have an issue like you before, when I fly my 450 Pro with 3 Hitec HS-65MG
Try many way to fix but impossible. After that I change my servo to 5065MG
All trouble gone.

ok, i

-put new ball links from servo to swash
-went back to kbdd green dampers
-cleaned my main shaft so the swash slid better over it.
-factory reset and re set up my beastx.

First flight same stuff was happening.

first, i had my piro revo going in the wrong direction, then i started messing with my tail gain, i raised it a good 15 points in my futaba and the problems are now pretty much gone.

so, it was low tail gain, but i couldn't tell before b/c i had revo mix running in my beastx.

I solved mine aswell. I have a bec pro running 5 volts bumped it to 6v and it's gone. I'm running ds610s and although I never really felt like it was slow to react I guess the beast needed a bit more speed.

Hmmm, some good tips here.
I have the same wobble when in a hover and flip her into inverted hover.

But mechanics are not the best on my beater heli. (500ESP)
I have play on my swashplate, servos and links, guess that needs fixing first.

Mounting tape that's too soft can also cause wobbles such as you describe...
