Still hear the roughness with 5.3 on the start of spool up only with the blades off. Lasts about 2seconds and then sounds nice and smooth.

V-Bar 5.3 changes.

I misunderstood your post. I thought you meant an update to the ESC firmware. I've been running 5.3 V-bar since it was released and love it on my electrics and my nitro. Especially the combined mode on my nitro.

It doesn't say in the updates that it has been tweaked but my E7 with Scorpion motor does not have nay hesitation on startup any more since the V5.3 upgrade.

alexmit I have the 2 channel mode on vbar gov on nitros and it is working awesome. I haven't tried the combined mode maybe I should?
