Big Thanks to Kevin and the rest of the club members. Can we do this twice a year?

Skiddz,

You did, as always, a fantastic job on setting up and coordinating the meet-THANK YOU!

Brent,

You are one of the bravest men I have ever known-Thank you for letting me fly your Goblin, sir! (Katie told me to just fly it when you were not looking, by the way).

Tim,

Thank you for everything, including the Knight 3D parts and the flight on the 3D Plus! That was a revelation! Great Night Flying!

SewerFly,

Always good to see you, my friend-Great Night Flying.

Forrest and Jeff,

It was a great pleasure to meet you both and fly with you. Your flying is most Impressive!

Mindance,

Always good to see you my friend! Smooth flying on that 6HV, sir!

John,

Great to see you again sir-you have the smoothest flying Logo's on the planet (those were incredibly round loops!).

Edsel,

Great to meet you and see you fly!

Darrin,

Outstanding flying as always sir! See you at Whittier (ok, well, maybe not...).

Austin,

Great to see you again-those poor plants on the edge of the runway will never be the same.

Mattox,

Outstanding flying, young man (put a canopy on that thing-your helicopter was naked!)!

Antonio,

Congratulations on your being a Team Pilot for Miniature Aircraft-Outstanding sir!

Steve,

Good to see you again, my friend, even though it was very briefly.

If I forgot anyone, I apologize.

This was a great meet!

LOL good one !
I've been to whitter a dozen times or so through out the years, and have never seen you there.

If I knew you flew there, I would not have dogged out the lack of heli knowledge at the field. Every time I've been, it's one or two Heli guys that keep to them selves.

But either way, after 1pm the sun in your face is horrible =p

See you at the HF event!!!!

I am usually the one behind the very large nose-you have to look past it.

"But either way, after 1pm the sun in your face is horrible =p"

I am usually long gone before that-it is ok up until about noon..

That was one heck of an awesome weekend. Great people, incredible flying, an awesome field, and great weather. Couldn't have been better.

Thanks to everybody that made things happen (skidds and the rest of the Miramar guys).

I'm real excited about trying to hit the desert with many of you this year. Hanging out twice a year just isn't enough.

I've got to figure out how to hang with more people but yet still keep an eye on my stuff. I wanted to go kick back over by you people over in the west side (Brent, Richard, Tim, the Corona guys, etc) but I was a little nervous leaving my stuff unattended. As it was we had something grow legs and walk off. (pretty sure we know who it was but definitly not going to say anything without proof).

don't know a good solution to hanging out with everybody. Helifreak is gonna be that much more of a challenge.

Daniel,

Park near us next time. We had three canopies, so we had room for you to hang out with us! Tim had two gimoungous generators and I had a small one.

Just bring a chair!

You are always welcome!

I plan on setting up Wednesday at Helifreak maybe we could do a five or six canopy camp hire a security guard to watch our stuff while we fly.

That sucks. It's pretty rare when stuff disappears at fun-flies. Sometimes things get mixed up, but that's still pretty rare too. Most of us do a pretty good job of watching out for each other's things. Sorry to see that happen. I worry about my checker like mad since I'd be up a creek without it (primarily because I live in BFE and have no LHS access).

In any event, I really had a blast this year. More than probably any other fun-fly before it too! I flew like crazy and was still itching for more so it's on at the HF FF coming up in October.

Corey - I'll have my own set of night blades by then, so at worst if it's you and me duking it out on the night-flying, I'm right there with you bro!!! Thanks for the AWESOME introduction into night rigs and thanks for brow-beating me into staying to try it out. Can't wait to do it again.

Huge thanks to Kevin for helping so much with the event. I can't count how many times I saw him have to take off and get people at the gate. No nagging, complaining, or anything. Very very cool dude! Thanks for putting up with us.

Richard, thanks again for letting me be a guest out at the ranch as well as hauling me to and from the field every day. I hope you can make good use of those Knight 3D parts!!! See you in October!

Found out yesterday at my field from another pilot that two of his ds610's walked off right out of the tool box they were sitting in. Funny thing they left one in the box I guess with a quick grab its hard to hold three in one hand.

Someone lifted those servos at the Miramar event or down at your field???

If the former, that takes some serious balls; you'd be looking at some serious charges from the MPs if you got caught.

Yep, that becomes a federal crime because it's an enclave. That irks me because I really think the best part of this FF is the 'down hoome' feel to it. Not a ton of spectators or potential sticky-fingered onlookers (or so we normally have been able to believe). FWIW, if you guys would like a donation to help recover some of the loss, I'd be happy to help out if I can.
