just order a copterx gyro but keep waiting for delivery (2 more days i guess). Have already the nedded software (including John NZ's). I've been reading a bit here, a bit there, watching some videos on YT. but i havent found a step by step video/post/thread explaining the procedures since the out box till the 1st landing experience. So i'd like to challenge pro's to build or insert here an help hand for those who are changing to flbless, cause as i told u guys, since i've been researching, there are a lot of pilots on my same situation, piking a peanut on a post and another on other post. what if we could make a pocket bible from zero to twenty? I know that's an hard challenge, but that was the reason to do it on HELIFREAK, instead of challenging on some other site/forum.

First. There is no reason or need for the JohnNZ software etc. So if you can't get that working right away, don't worry about it, and move on.
Here is a good video on the programming of the FBL unit. As far as converting a heli to flybarless. Your best answers will come from those forum sections specific to the model of hell. I have a write up of my converting a Blade 450 3D to FBL on the Blade 450 section. http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=360216

Hi Pedro,
If you are going to use Microbeast or Vbar there are tons of videos for those already. The theory of setting up a FBL bird is very similar between all the existing systems. There is also a minimum knowledge you must have in order to understand a step-by-step process. I've setup many of them already and they all pretty have the following steps: - setup receiver - setup servo type - setup servo end points - setup for servo centering - setup swashplate alignment - setup cyclic and collective pitch - setup swashplate autocorrection - setup pirouette More challenging than the setup is the actual tweak of it. That is when you really have to have a wholistic understand of the mechanics of your bird. Which value should be changed to adjust specific flight behavior, etc. So, for that matter, I think it is easier just to stick with the threads on this forum. Now, if one wants to do an extensive write up, go for it Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
