Hey guys,
Whats an alternative to the E Revo Brushless that is going to run similar but cost less? I defiantly want to run lipos in it from the start! I have not seen to much on the web about this sort of question.... Rob |

Why?
The ERBE is known to be the best all around truck. You might look at the HPI savage, but price range is the same, and I'm not a fan after trying it a few times over the ERBE.

Really there is no alternative bout the only thing that is still as tough and will run lipos but to my likeness still not as bad a$$ as the erevo would be a 4x4 slash with some upgrades and lipos there really tough but still don't have the wow factor of the revo its like setting a clone 450 next to a goblin lol. imo

The best alternative is the thunder tiger mt 4. It's not a whole lot cheaper at ~$550 but it's loads tougher due to metal drive shafts and chassis and the center diff.
Sent from mu phone usin mu dumb thumbs.

I had the ERBE and loved it. I put RpM true track on the rear and RPM fromt arms, the steering throw kit that it came with, put the long travel springs but not the cams. i could not break that thing except the bodies. Crazy fast with 4s lipo, and it would run over everything.
I only got rid of mine because i was spending a fortune on lipos. Also the two packs that the revo needed to run a half hour, could run my stampede a half hour twice. Plus i was the only one of my friends that had that big a truck so at the track i was running my slash to keep things competitive. Loved the truck. Hated to see it go. And i wouldnt recommend trying to save money by buying the brushed version. My friend had one for about a week before he sold it and it was slow with short run times compared to mine. There are option parts that dont come with the non brushless, and by the time you upgrade everything it costs a fortune. If you can afford it, get the ERBE, RPM arms all the way around, a few bodies, and some insanely expensive lipos and go have a blast. It was the funnest truck ever.
