1. Setup for the 4#3B & CB100 with the WK-2801 Pro and RX2406C.

1.2 Setup for the RX2605A Receiver and the Walkera WK-2801 Pro Transmitter.

I also have a PDF downloadable setup guide below at the bottom of this post.

Stick - Mode2, COMPT 2401

REVERS - 1R, 2N, 3N, 4N,

Swash - 1servo

Your throttle trim MUST be all the way down or the tail motor esc will not arm.

If you want D/R & Expo -

Assign a Hot Key:
If you want Expo and D/R set COMPTB to 2801 and assign a hot key for Expo & D/R. Then set
COMPTB back to 2401.
To do this go into 2801 mode and go into the Expo, D/R screen. Then push down
at the same time the UP and DN buttons. A menu will pop up called
Hot Keys. Select the button you want to assign it to then hit ENT.
Now go back to mode 2401 and the hot key (s) you set will
be there.
This trick will work for almost all menus like throttle, pitch, gyro gain,
subtrim, etc...

To recall a Hot Key you assigned:
You MUST HOLD DOWN the left EXT button and "keep it down" then
press the hot key button you assigned that you
want. Then your menu will pop up for you.

See this video also:

How to use the advanced setting options of the Walkera 2801Pro TX for use on
the 4#3B with the 2406 RX Range (2406, 2406A, 2406B, 2406C).

----------------------------------------------

1.2 Setup for the 4#3B & CB100 with WK-2801 Pro and RX2605A.

Swash - 1servo

Thrcurv - Norm - Linear (default) 0%-25%-50%-75%-100%

PITCURV - Linear (default) 0%-25%-50%-75%-100%

Gyrhld: Gryo - 85% - Try this to start out with. It will be INH at default. Switch it to GYRO/AUX2

REVERS - All are normal with the RX2605A in 2801 stick mode.

STICK - MODE2, COMPT 2801

Your throttle trim MUST be all the way down or the tail motor esc will not arm.

On the THRCURV menu you want 0-25-50-75-100.
You will also see IN and OUT below the percent.
Make sure OUT is set at -16. This is your throttle trim adjustment
on the radio. So if the trim is all the way down it will read -16
or maybe -15.

Reciever:
AILE to left/right servo
ELEV to up/down servo
PIT not used
RUDD not used
TAIL MOT SIG to tail ESC
MAIN MOT SIG not used
You MUST put the MIX pot on the 4in1 to MAX.
Then if needed go into the subtrim in your RX - SUBTRIM RUDD and turn it up to
where you need it until the tail holds straight. I have mine at R 21.
The power cable on the 4in1 that goes to the battery is not used in this setup.
I took mine off to save weight and clutter.

2. Setup for the Walkera V100D01 Helicopter with the RX2441V Receiver and the Walkera WK-2801 Pro Transmitter.

I also have a PDF downloadable setup guide under my pictures.

Step 1. Select a new model (or reset a model)

Step 2. COMPTB 2401 and STICK to MODE2

3. REVERS - 1R, 2R, 3N, 4N
Channel 1 is ELEV and channel 2 is ALIE.

Make sure the throttle trim is set all the way down. Default is center.

D/R and Expo -

If you want Expo and D/R set COMPTB to 2801 and assign a hot key for Expo & D/R. Then set COMPTB back to 2401.
To do this go into 2801 mode and go into the Expo, D/R screen. Then push down
at the same time the UP and DN buttons. A menu will pop up called
Hot Keys. Select the button you want to assign it to then hit ENT.
Now go back to mode 2601 or 2401 and the hot key (s) you set will
be there.
This trick will work for almost all menus like throttle, pitch, gyro gain,
subtrim, etc...
To bring up your hot key you need to hold down the left EXT button and keep it down then
press the hot key button you assigned that you want.
That's it, you can now fly the V100D01.
You need to know this. When you plug in the battery you will get 2 quick beeps, then turn on the TX and wait for it to bind.
Now wait for 3 beeps from the tail motor and in a 2-3 seconds and you will get 3 beeps from the main motor also.
Now you are ready to fly.

*************************************

6.1 Justin Proud settings (ClubHeli's test pilot).

Thanks Justin for letting me post these.

-----------------------------------------------

I'm adding my radio settings for the 2801 pro for the V100D03BL.

CHNL Reversing are all in the NORM pos.

My gyro gain for the tail is at about 70% and may very from one heli to another.

THROTTLE CURVE

NORM ST-1&2
L 0% L 100%
1 25% 1 100%
2 50% 2 100%
3 75% 3 100%
H 100% H 100%

PITCH CURVE(this may also very from heli too heli but great starting point)

NORM ST1&2
L 43.5% L 27%
1 46 % 1 35%
2 50% 2 50%
3 67% 3 67%
H 77% H 77%

The gyro pots on the RX are set too just less than 50% and the servo EXT. is turned up to about 75%. These settings are a pretty good starting point.
I fly with no expo but you may want too add some if you feel needed. This thing flies great for me with these settings.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is a HD video I made (Tom Z) using Justin's settings. If you want to view it in HD double click it and it will open up on YouTube. Then selct HD.
Follow my full setup above and then use these Throttle and Pitch Curves which are Justin's settings instead of the ones I listed above.

I also have PDF downloadable setup guide at the bottom of this post.

**These are settings I have tried and use. These are good starting points for you.
Some people use these settings as they are and others change them to meet there needs.

Make sure you verify the settings after you are done before you fly the helicopter.
On the WK-2801 Pro you must hit ENT to save a setting, if you just back out of the menu it will not save the setting.

5. Setup for the Walkera 4G6S Helicopter - RX2610S Receiver with 3-Axis Gyro -Walkera WK-2801 Pro Transmitter.

For the RX2610S and WK-2602 TX see this link.

http://helifreak.com/showpost.php?p=...0&postcount=23

There are 2 different setup guides I made here and one other
setup guide made by nute53.

5.1 RX2610S Setup Guide - 3D Settings
5.2 RX2610S Setup Guide - Beginner Settings
5.3 RX2610S and WK-2602 TX - By nute53

I also have a PDF downloadable setup guide below my pictures.

RX2610S Weight = 6.89 grams
RX2610S Weight minus cover = 6.16 grams

With these settings you will have in normal mode -10* to +10* pitch.
In ST-1 & ST-2 mode you will have +/- 10* pitch.

You can do the tilt test after setup to see if the gyros are working and in the
correct direction but you will need to give throttle to do this or disconnect the motor and give
throttle then tilt the helicopter.

5.1 RX2610S Setup Guide - 3D Settings

Read this post first:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...postcount=1370

This section below is for 3D flying. If you want beginner settings see the Beginners Section.
Switch to the RX2610S from the RX2609. If you already have the RX2610S continue on to setup.
I recommend you pull out one plug at a time from the RX2609 and put it in the RX2610S
and keep repeating until all connectors are installed in the RX2610S. This makes it a
fast switch and you won't connect a plug into the wrong socket this way.
Once the RX2610S is mounted and all the plugs are connected, you are ready to program the radio.
* Make sure on the RX2610S that the BAL switch is down (on) and the PIT. REV switch is up (off).
See my RX2610S Dip Switch Settings picture below.

*These are good starting points for you. Some people use these settings as they are and others change them to meet there needs.

* Also see pictures below for Step by Step Setup*
You can download this setup guide below with the pictures also in it.

Step 1. Create a new model in the WK-2801 Pro TX

Step 2. Set to stick mode 2601 if it isn't already set to it. Stay in 2601 stick mode.

Step 3. Go into REVERS and set to:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
N N N R N R N N

Step 4. Go into SWASH and set to 3SERVOS 120*

Step 5. Go into SWATTS, SWASHMIX and set to: (Do not set any to -60%).

ELEV 60%
AILE 60%
PIT 60%

Step 6. Go into GYRPAT and set to:
PLT -124 ATS 0%
Pit +500 SEN 23%
Exp1 0
Exp2 0

Step 7. Bind Radio and RX. Make sure the throttle trim is all the way down. The default is center.

For 3D flight put the throttle at half stick (zero degrees pitch) and adjust the swash links if needed so that there is no wind from the main blades going up or down from them.

If you want D/R & Expo -

Assign a Hot Key:
If you want Expo and D/R set COMPTB to 2801 and assign a hot key for Expo & D/R. Then set
COMPTB back to 2601.
To do this go into 2801 mode and go into the Expo, D/R screen. Then push down
at the same time the UP and DN buttons. A menu will pop up called
Hot Keys. Select the button you want to assign it to then hit ENT.
Now go back to mode 2601 and the hot key (s) you set will be there.
This trick will work for almost all menus like throttle, pitch, gyro gain,
subtrim, etc...

To recall a Hot Key you assigned:
You MUST HOLD DOWN the left EXT button and "keep it down" then
press the hot key button you assigned that you want. Then your menu will pop up for you.

Make sure that the heli is perfectly balanced because any vibrations and the gyros will make the swashplate move around.
Use D/R and or Expo to tame the heli down and adjust the RX pots to what you like.
Turn RUDD EXT pot up to get full slider travel.

Important!
When doing the mechanical setup of the swashplate turn off the Balance Mode (BAL switch up (Off)) off during setup.
Then when you are finished turn the Balance Mode back on(BAL switch down (On).
Secure the RX with rubber bands tight or the RX will shake the heli as it is not secure enough with just the RX tape.
I found this out with both the helicopters I setup. It shook hard until I put finger pressure on the RX then it smoothed out perfect!
So I then added rubber bands and it works great.
Make sure that the heli is perfectly balanced because any vibrations and the gyros will make the swashplate move around.

From what have experienced it's best to set the ALIE gyro, ELEV gyro,
and delay pot at 50% (12 o clock position) then fine tune them to your
personal preference/flying style. So if you want the most
correction crank the ALIE, ELEV pots up as high as possible
without getting swash rocking. Then adjust the delay pot.
For most people the 11 -12 o clock position for ALIE and ELEV
and 9 -12 o clock position for the delay pot seems to work well.

2. Thanks DLee2010!
I have tried this and it tames the heli response down
as it reduces the pitch. Combine this with D/R and or EXPO and you
will have a tame heli to start on.
Note: You don't want to flip up into Idle up or your going to have a
big pitch jump. Only use this to learn on in normal mode. Once you can
fly well set everything back to what I have listed in my setup guide
and you will be ready for regular or 3D flight.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note:

You can't adjust the throttle curve in normal mode or ST1 mode.
Throttle curves are hard coded. There appears to be no way to adjust the throttle curve with this Rx.
So you adjust throttle curves to adjust the pitch curves.

The plain fact is the throttle curves are hard coded into the 2610S Rx. There appears to be no way to adjust the throttle curve with this Rx.
PLT is to set your top and bottom pitch in Idle-up. PIT is to set your hover pitch in Nor flight mode.
Adjusting throttle curve in 2801 NOR affects pitch curve in 2601 NOR.
Adjusting throttle curve in 2801 St1 affects pitch curve in 2601 Idle-up (3D).

PLT controls the amount of +/- pitch you have in Idle-up while PIT adjusts how much pitch you have in Nor flight.
The lower (more "-") you add to PLT, the less max pitch you will have. You can also then adjust the Idle-up pitch curve itself (if you have a 2801Pro) by switching to 2801 mode and adjusting the throttle curve and going back to 2601 stick mode.
Manny and I use this option to smooth out the curve so it "feels" right in flight. The higher you make PIT value (more "+") the less pitch you have at start-up and Nor flight. So in order to have "0" pitch at mid-stick, the values are roughly what you have.
If you keep PLT at "0", the pitch curve is too steep and you end up with way too much pitch (at top and bottom collective stick) that will bog the motor in Idle-up flight mode. If you leave the PIT at "0", you will have too much pitch at 1/4 to 1/2 stick in NOR flight mode which makes it harder to control and land without cutting the motor out.

TH does not work in ST-1 only in Norm mode. The flight mode is to go into 3D mode and gives constant
throttle with pitch control (collective).
Here are the settings I am using.
Under GyrPat I have
PLT -124 ATS 0%
Pit +500 SEN 23%
Exp1 0
Exp2 0
The throttle curve is very aggressive in stunt modes as soon as you leave center stick pitch comes in really quick so I went under Stick put it in 2801 mode then went under Throttle curve and this is what I have my ST-1 set to.
ST-1 0 38 50 62 100
This will change your pitch curve in ST-1 in 2601 mode to make it less aggressive.
Now on the on the RX if you look at it down from the front of the heli it is set up like this.
Bal Delay is set to 8:30
Elev gyro 11:30
Aile gyro 12:30
Elev/Aile EXT is maxed out.
Also make sure that the heli is perfectly balanced because any vibrations and the gyros will make the swashplate move around.

5.3 Setup for the RX2610S and WK-2602 TX

This setup is for the RX2610S and WK-2602 TX. Special tanks to nute53
for letting me post this in my setup guide.
I installed a 2610S Rx in my almost new Novus 125 CP ,and have finally got it dailed- in for indoor practice -been way too windy past couple weeks to attempt outside testing.
The Rx Pots were set at :
Balance Delay - approx. 65%
Elev. & Ail Gyro- approx. 50%
Elev. & Ail Extent- approx. 35% (I have this set low on Rx & dual rate on Tx set high to get full rudder throw, yet toned down cyclic)
Rudd Extent- approx. 85%

Transmitter settings were set at:
Elev.,Ail.,Throttle,& Gear all set to norm.
Pit. & Rudder set to rev.
Aux off, Buzz on
Expo-off, Plt-Pit-off, Rudd.Mix-norm, Gyro-on
Since this is a re-branded 2602 Tx, it is set to 6ch. mode to bind, and I have the V1 & V2 knobs set to approx. 60%. Still not sure how the V1 & V2 translate to pitch & throttle curve setup with this Rx, but this seems to be the best compromise so far, without bogging down the stock motor.
This seems to be the most stable settings for just indoor hovering. If anyone has any suggestions, or could help translate the 2801 Tx pitch-throttle curves to a Helimax 6024 (2602 Tx),that would be very helpful. I understand the 2801 must bind in 2601 mode, and all the functions are not available with this first generation 2610S Rx as relates to setting up the 2801 Tx-including throttle can't be set to 100% in norm mode, curves must be set in 2801 mode-then switched to 2601 to bind.
I am getting a slight bobbing action (front & back) with this Rx, not sure if it is a gyro or balance delay setting-have tried various pot settings with limited success-more balance or gyro = more pronounced bobbing. I have also read that any excess vibration may cause irregular gyro motion, but seems to be running very smoothly, so not sure.
Overall very pleased with the extra stability the 2610S Rx offers, and after some more practice with this setup, will be installing a flybarless head that I already have ready to go, and see how that works with the new Rx.

6. Setup for the Walkera 4G6V Helicopter - RX2610V2 Receiver with 3-Axis Gyro - Walkera WK-2801 Pro Transmitter.

I also have a PDF downloadable setup guides below my pictures.
There are two setup guides to download.
One is a step by step setup guide of everything on this page.
The other is a step by step setup guide edited and commented by Henk (using my setup guide) for the Dkfuji FBL Head only (or if your made your own Flybarless Head from the stock 4G6 head). He did a nice job on it and he went into much more pitch step by step setup for beginners than I did.

You can do the tilt test after setup to see if the gyros are working and in the
correct direction. For the RX2610V2 you do not need to give throttle or disconnect the motor.
Just tilt the helicopter.
For the RX2610S (like in this video) you need to give throttle to do the tilt test or disconnect the motor and give
throttle then tilt the helicopter.

1. Setup for the Walkera 4G6V Helicopter - RX2610V2 Receiver with 3-Axis Gyro - Walkera WK-2801 Pro Transmitter.

*** First set the RX2610V2 Dip Switches. ***
RX Dip Switch factory positions are both down from the factory.
Set these to the following:
BAL switch down (On) and PIT. REV up (Off).
You can also see my picture below for these settings.

The RX2610V2 is made for the V120D02 which has a longer main shaft
than the 4G6 has so when you put the RX2610V2 on the 4G6
you must compensate for the shorter main shaft with custom pitch
curves that I listed in Step #8 for the 4G6 Flybar head.
Also the RX2610V2 has reverse pitch curves
so on the 4G6 only you must reverse the pitch curves like I did
or reverse the blade grips.

RX2610V2 Weight = 7.1 grams

IMPORTANT!
The PIT and ALIE Servo RX locations will vary between different V120D02 helicopters and different RX2610V's.
Try Option #1 first. If your radio sticks are working correctly you are all set. If not use Option #2.

RX2610V Servo Hookup Option #1

PIT Servo Plug goes into the PIT RX Socket.
ALIE Servo Plug goes into the ALIE RX Socket.
Also see my picture below.

RX2610V Servo Hookup Option #2

PIT Servo Plug goes into the ALIE RX Socket.
ALIE Servo Plug goes into the PIT RX Socket.
Also see my picture below.

*Make sure you verify the settings after you are done before you fly the helicopter.
On the WK-2801 Pro you must hit ENT to save a setting, if you just back out of the menu it will not save the setting.*

**These are settings I have tried and use. These are good starting points for you.
Some people use these settings as they are and others change them to meet there needs.

Step 1. Create a new model (or reset a current model) in the WK-2801 Pro TX.

Step 2. Set to stick mode 2801 if it isn't already set to it. Stay in 2801 stick mode.
*Make sure STICK is set to MODE2* Sometimes it will default to MODE1.
Set the throttle trim all the way down to zero. Default is center.

Step 3. Go into REVERS and set to:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
N N N N N N N N

Step 4. Go into SWASH and set to 1SERVO NORM

Step 5. Go into CURVES THRCURVE and set to:

Norm 0%-25%-50%-75%-100%
ST1 & ST2 - 100%-100%-100%-100%-100%

Another option for ST1 & ST2 if 100% across is too much RPM for your motor is to use these settings.

ST-1 & ST-2 100%-90%-80%-90%-100%

I use this setup. ST-1 is a V Shaped Throttle Curve, ST-2 is 100% across.
ST-1 100%-90%-80%-90%-100%
ST-2 100%-100%-100%-100%-100%

Step 6. Go into CURVES PITCURVE and set to:

1. For the Walkera FBL Head - This is the Stock Walkera Flybarless Head on the V120D02 helicopter.

Norm 36.5%-41%-50%-65%-80%
ST-1 & ST-2 20%-35%-50%-65%-80%
HOLD 20%-35%-50%-65%-80%
With these settings you will have in normal mode -3* to +11* pitch (Depending what the lengths of your servo to swash links are at it could be a little more or less).
In ST-1 & ST-2 mode you will have +/- 11* pitch (Depending what the lengths of your servo to swash links are at it could be a little more or less).

2. For the 4G6 Flybar Head, Dkfuji FBL Head, or if your made your own Flybarless Head from the stock 4G6 head.

Norm 49.5%-45%-37%-21%-5%
ST-1 & ST-2 69%-53%-37%-21%-5%
HOLD 69%-53%-37%-21%-5%
With these settings you will have in normal mode -3* to +13* pitch (Depending what the lengths of your servo to swash links are at it could be a little more or less).
In ST-1 & ST-2 mode you will have +/- 13* pitch (Depending what the lengths of your servo to swash links are at it could be a little more or less).
If this is too much pitch for you (EX: your motor bogs) then you can adjust the pitch curves to whatever you want like Norm -3* to +10*, Stunt Mode +/- 10*, etc.

To change the pitch curve range you want to change the first and last pitch curves
first. So pitch curve L and H. Start with the settings I listed then
for every 4 clicks of the TX button will give you +/- 1* of pitch.
So if you take pitch curve H for ST mode which is 5% (13*) and push the
TX button 4 clicks and increase this to 7% you will then have 12* pitch.
4 more clicks would be 9% (11* pitch), 4 more clicks would be 11% (10* pitch).
Then for the pitch curve L for ST mode which is 69% (13*) push the
TX button 4 clicks and decrease this to 67% (12*). 4 more clicks would be 65% (11* pitch), 4 more clicks would be 63% (10* pitch).
Then set pitch point #1 to be in between pitch curve L and pitch curve #2.
Set pitch point #3 to be in between pitch curve H and pitch curve #2.
Pitch point #2 will always stay 37% which is zero degrees pitch at mid stick.

So for a 12* pitch curve you would want these settings:

Norm 49.5%-45%-37%-22%-7%
-3* to +12* pitch
ST-1 & ST-2 67%-52%-37%-22%-7%
+/- 12* pitch
HOLD 67%-52%-37%-22%-7%

Note:
When doing the mechanical setup of the swashplate turn off the Balance Mode (BAL switch up (Off)) off during setup.
Then when you are finished turn the Balance Mode back on (BAL switch down (On).
Put the throttle at half stick (zero degrees pitch) and adjust the servo to swash links
if needed so that there is no wind from the main blades going up or down from them.
Use the pitch point #2 to adjust and set zero degrees pitch at mid stick.
If you don't have zero degrees pitch at mid stick at 37% and you need to go to a higher percent than 37% to get zero degrees pitch at mid stick
then shorten the swash links. If you need less than 37% to get zero degrees pitch at mid stick then lengthen the swash links. See picture below.
You want the Guide Ball Flybar Pivot to be in the middle of the long head slot at half stick and
you want equal travel from the center to full negative pitch and from the center to full positive pitch.
If you don't have equal travel make adjustments so you do. Also you don't want any binding or bottoming out
at full negative pitch or full positive pitch. See picture below.

Step 7. Go into GYRHLD, GYROSENS and change INH to GYRO/AUX2
Set to 0: 78%
Set to 1: 78%
0: - This is for HH Mode which is 50%-100%
1: - This is for Rate Mode which is 0%-49%
I like to set both for HH Mode. I don't use Rate Mode anyway.

Step 8. Go into GYRHLD, THROHOLD, and change INH to THRO HOLD
ACT
HOLD Pos. -15%

Step 9. Go into TRVADJ and set to:
All 100% except Rudder = L120% R120%

Step 10. Go into DR&EXP:
Set D/R and EXPO to your personal needs/preference.
I use 60% D/R and +35% EXPO. I have the Servo EXT on max on the RX.
Set AUTO to:
ST-1 ACT
ST-2 ACT
HOLD ACT

Step 11. Bind Radio and RX.

Here are HD settings videos I made. If you want to view it in HD double click it and it will open up on YouTube. Then selct HD.
Note: Set to STICK MODE 2 not MODE 1. It defaulted to Mode 1 as I loaded the model.

7. Setup for the Walkera Genius CP Helicopter - RX2625H Receiver: Devo compatible - Devo 7 Transmitter. These settings should also work for the Devo 6, Devo 8, Devo 10, and Devo 12 transmitters.

* Beginner Settings for 3 axis mode
* Beginner Settings for 6 axis mode by bobepine

I custom made these curves at Hellraser's request.
Switching between the 3 modes in flight is very smooth. There is no height change switching between the modes.

This will give you the following:

Normal Mode: Zero negative pitch. For indoor flying or outdoor flying with no wind. The heli will not slam to the ground if you pull the throttle down to fast due to having negative pitch.

ST-1: 3* negative normal pitch. Good for flying outdoors in wind.

ST-2: +/- 8 * pitch with zero degrees pitch at mid stick. I am able to flip, roll, and invert with this.

Beginner Settings

**These are settings I have tried and use. These are good starting points for you.
Some people use these settings as they are and others change them to meet there needs.

The settings listed below are for 3 axis mode.

There are custom 6 axis beginner settings by bobepine.

These settings will help minimize damage in a crash as the swash and blades will be at mid stick zero degrees pitch. This will also prevent a boom strike. The swash does not move with TH with these settings.
There is no autorotation for the Mini CP helicopter. If you want control of the swash in TH to help you land in a crash then don't use these settings. Use the setting up pitch curves settings below.

*HOLD - 0- 25-50-75-100 > If you are setting up pitch curves use these settings first then switch to the settings above for when you fly.

Step 7. Go into GYRHLD, GYROSENS and change INH to GYRO/AUX2
Set as high as you can go without getting tail wag. If you get tail wag with these numbers lower them
all equally EX: 78.0%, 78.0%, 78.0%

Set throttle trim to center.

Step 9. Go into TRVADJ and set to:
ELEV - D & U:100%, AILE - L & R: 100%, Pitch travel 100%, 100% ON THE REST

Step 10. Go into DR&EXP:
Set D/R and EXPO to your personal needs/preference. Here is what I use.
You can set more or less than 70% D/R if you want and more or less than +30% EXPO if you want.

9. Setup for the Walkera Genius CP Helicopter - RX2625H Receiver: Devo compatible - Devo 7 Transmitter. These settings should also work for the Devo 6, Devo 8, Devo 10, and Devo 12 transmitters.

* Intermediate to Advanced Settings

**These are settings I have tried and use. These are good starting points for you.
Some people use these settings as they are and others change them to meet there needs.
The settings listed below are for 3 axis mode.

This setup will give you 8-9* +/- pitch.
If you want more or less pitch turn up or down the pitch travel.
DO NOT set Rudder travel adjustment more than 100%. The tail will blow out
hard with any setting over 100%.
These are the settings I am using.
With these settings there is no change at all in RPM or pitch switching between modes. Normal, ST-1, and ST-2.
The heli won't rise or drop switching between modes.
Copy a model in the Devo 7:
At the default screen Press ENT, select MODEL on the top - Press ENT, select COPY - Press ENT, for SOURCE select select GENIS - Press ENT, for DEST select MOD 2 - Press ENT.

Intermediate to Advanced Settings

See picture below for the RX factory pot settings.
Verify the settings after you are done before you fly the Genius CP.
I use the settings listed below for 3 axis and 6 axis mode. Some people like to use different settings for the two different modes. I asked them to post in my sticky
what 6 axis settings they are using that they like for others to try so see page 3 and higher in my sticky.

12. Setup for the Walkera Mini CP Helicopter - RX2632V-D Receiver - Devo 7 Transmitter.
These settings should also work for the Devo 6, Devo 8, Devo 10, and Devo 12 transmitters.

* Beginner Settings

Switching between the 3 modes in flight is very smooth. There is no height change switching between the modes. I tried inches of the ground, a foot off the ground, waist level, and 6 feet up.

**These are good starting points for you. Some people use these settings as they are and others change them to meet there needs.

How to copy a model in the Devo 7:
At the default screen Press ENT, select MODEL on the top - Press ENT, select COPY - Press ENT, for SOURCE select select GENIS - Press ENT, for DEST select MOD 2 - Press ENT.
Verify the settings after you are done before you fly the Mini CP.

15. Setup for the Walkera Genius CP Helicopter - RX2625H Receiver: WK2801 compatible - Walkera WK-2801 Pro Transmitter.

* Normal Settings

**These are good starting points for you.
Some people use these settings as they are and others change them to meet there needs.
The settings listed below are for 3 axis mode.

Normal Settings

Make sure you verify the settings after you are done before you fly the Genius CP.
On the WK-2801 Pro you must hit ENT to save a setting, if you just back out of the menu it will not save the setting.

Step 1. Create a new model (or reset a current model) in the WK-2801 Pro TX.

Step 2. Set to stick mode 2801 if it isn't already set to it. Stay in 2801 stick mode.
*Make sure STICK is set to MODE2* Sometimes it will default to MODE1.

Step 3. Go into REVERS and set to: ALL NOR

Step 4. Go into SWASH and set to: 1 SERVO NORM

Step 5. Go into CURVES THRCURVE and set to:
Normal - 0-25-50-75-100
ST-1 - 100-90-80-90-100
ST-2 - 100-100-100-100-100

Step 6. Go into CURVES PITCURVE and set to:
Option 1. Normal - 32-41-50-75-100 > This will give you some negative pitch.
Option 2. Normal - 50-50-50-75-100 > If you do not want any negative pitch use these settings.
ST-1 - 0-25-50-75-100
ST-2 - 0-25-50-75-100
HOLD - 50-50-50-50-50 > This will help minimize damage in a crash as the swash and blades will be at mid stick zero degrees pitch. This will also prevent a boom strike.
The swash does not move with TH with these settings.
There is no autorotation for the Genius CP helicopter. If you want control of the swash in TH to help you land in a crash then don't use these settings. Use the settings below.

*HOLD - 0- 25-50-75-100 > If you are setting up pitch curves use these settings first then switch to the settings above to fly.

Step 7. Go into GYRHLD, GYROSENS and change INH to GYRO/AUX2
Set to: GYRO/AUX2
0: 82%
1: 82%

Step 8. Go into GYRHLD, THROHOLD, and change INH to THRO HOLD
Set to: THRO HOLD ACT
HOLD Pos. 0%
Set throttle trim to center.

Step 9. Go into TRVADJ and set to:
100% for all of them except set Pitch to L & H = 65%

Step 10. Go into DR&EXP and set to:

Option 1.

ELEV D/R 80% EXP +30%
AILE D/R - 80%, EXP +30%
RUDD D/R - 100%, EXP - LIN
AUTO - Set all to ACT if you want these D/R & EXPO settings to work in Normal, ST-1, and ST-2 modes automatically for you.

Option 2:

ELEV D/R - 70% EXP +35%
AILE D/R - 70%, EXP +35%
RUDD D/R - 100%, EXP +25%
AUTO - Set all to ACT if you want these D/R & EXPO settings to work in Normal, ST-1, and ST-2 modes automatically for you.

Step 11. SWAATS - Swashmix

Set to: NOT ACTIVE IN 1 SERVO SWASH TYPE

Step 12. Bind Radio and RX.

Check and verify swash is moving correct with cyclic input and 3 axis gyro is compensating correct.

* My custom settings for the C05 Brushless Mini CP. Normal Flight/3D Flight.

I have setup for normal flight DR/EXPO on POS O and 3D flight on POS 1.
I have ST-1 throttle for 90% throttle and ST-2 for 100% throttle.

With the two different DR/EXPO settings and two different Stunt mode settings I can fly with normal or 3D settings.
I can flip and roll well with ST-1 and DR/EXPO on POS 1. If I want more head speed then I'll use ST-2.
It did not flip or roll well at all with ST-1 or ST-2 and DR/EXPO on POS 0. Too much D/R to allow it to flip and roll quick.

ST-1 and DR/EXPO on POS O is good for normal flying and indoor flying.

ST-1 or ST-2 and DR/EXPO on POS 1 is good for 3D.

Note: There will be a height change switching between Normal and Stunt modes.

PL = 0%
P1 = 0%
P2 = 0%
PM = 0%
P3 = 0%
P4 = 0%
PH = 0%

If you are setting up pitch curves use these settings first then switch to the settings above for when you fly.

PL = -100%
P1 = INH
P2 = INH
PM = 0%
P3 = INH
P4 = INH
PH = +100%
