Hello guys!
Helicopter Specs: Align 500mx Align 70 Esc Lipo zippy 2650 30C Servo DS510M+DS520 BeastX with 3M tape My question is how can I adjust properly the pot1 in beastX. In the past I try to adjust and my helicopter roll over from the sky and hit at the ground. Is there any safe guide to undestand that I have the optimum setting in pot 1! Now my setting is at 8:30 (9 o clock is center- Default value) |

Its kind of hard to understand what you are asking.I mean how is the heli acting that makes you want to change the swash gain?
If you get it a bit high you will start to get hunting/oscillation.A bit low and it will get drifty. How much did you turn the dial to get a radically different reaction from one flight to the next? You really only need to turn it like one blade width at a time and recheck. "Roll over from the sky and hit at ground" ![]() I really dont see a gain adjustment making a radical change like that unless you turned the dial a whole bunch all at once.Even then...

Best way i've found to set cyclic gain is by doing a hard cyclic rock in hover at your max head speed. I turn it up till i get a bobble after letting the stick back to center after the hard rock, then back it down till the bobble is gone and you're all set.
