Can someone give me the distance that the mounting bracket that wraps around the tail boom should be from the tail boom mount in the heli? I busted my tail servo again.......... it appears the mount that servo mounts has moved forward. I know when I install the new servo that the horn has to be perpendicular to the tail boom but there must a distance for the cradle that holds the servo.
Thank you!! |

I don't think there is a specification for this. I ran into the same question after my first repair requiring removal of the tail. I ended up simply sliding the servo back and forth using test flights until my Helli stopped rotating to get it in the ballpark then I made my final adjustments. I am about to overhaul my helicopter - if I remember I will post where my servo is positioned.
