Richardson TX RC Club Heli Fun May 20th

The Richardson RC Club will hold its annual Helicopter Fun Fly on Sunday May 20th from 9am until Night Flying is done. This is a laid back day of flying with your buddies, so bring all of your rotary wing toys with you. Landing fee is $20 that includes lunch. We will have a couple of fun events to challenge your flying skills and competitive natures.

The club has made major investments in improvements that includes a completely new infield area with new starting tables, easy access pilot stations and more space to setup. we hope that you come out and join us on May 20th. We are east of Allen TX in the Dallas Ft Worth area. The map is on the back of the flier, and you can check out the web site at rrcc.org for more information.

Great job on the weather too. I'm glad it wasn't any warmer, but the clear skies and cool breezes were welcome. I'll second Rusty's comment on the field; the new additions in the pit area were very nice.

Thanks for the great compliments, and the Richardson RC Club extends our gratitude for everybody who came out and enjoyed a wonderful day of rotary wing mayhem! Philip took some great pictures and video that I hope you all get a chance to enjoy. Wilson Miller was truly awesome with his SAB Goblin, so don't miss the video.

I met a lot of great people on Sunday, and I got a real kick out of John Johnson and Pinion. I don't know how folks can fly with a Pinion in their ear giving a running commentary, but I was LMAO with Pinion's "coaching".
