Awesome!!! Showing off the pictures here at the Austin Fun Fly.

Any chance of taking close ups with the canopy off?

I'm happy they do not, DFC may be cool looking but good design it's not.
Is that basically because with the DFC design the pitch link needs to handle both the torsion forces acting on the rotor head, in addition to transferring the pitch inputs to the main grips simultaneously? With the separate pitch link/swash driver design the forces are more equally distributed, as they've got separate functions.

However, the DFC design does lower the CG a bit more than the separate pitch link/swash driver design, even though the new Mikado heads have a design which integrates both the main rotor hub and swash driver into one single unit.

Edit: Wow, thread progressing fast!

problem with DFC is when spindle teeters in the dampers.
The best is still with a regular swash driver. But that is an entirely different discussion

Most likely a Jive 120 with a different heatsink.

Well, looking at the pictures the main blade grips are using spacers to fit the 700'ish mm blades. Xxtreme grips much...?

BTW: I would imagine that the DFC heads would work better on a small helicopter (250, 450), as the forces acting on the rotor disk are much smaller.

Grips are smaller also.

Main reason I believe the Logo XX head was not used on the 700 is weight, mainshaft, spindle + 800 size headblock and grips are over kill. Going to a scaled down 800 head saves a great ammount of weight.

The XXtreme uses spacers on its grips also. Reason is, they needed to enlarge the grip openings to fit the large thrust bearings they're using. I doubt that the 700 grips are the same as the XX.

Why do you need a different mainshaft?

Obviously, this issue can easily be avoided making a good head block initially in the design process...

Great to see th new logo 700 and additions on the logo 600. Finally logo 600 has a third bearing block and thicker main gear, and hope it wil solve the gear problem.

I cut down my motor shaft to clear off the batteries, is long motor shaft needed to use the new parts? Since the sx parts are addition to the current 600, hope these will be available soon.
