Is it worth the wait?

Just wondering if this Heli is worth the wait? I've been on the back order list at Amain for over a month and i'm sitting on all the gear tempted to move on to something I can get and fly. I'm considering a 7HV or an E7 but there are things about these heli's i don't care for. What do you guys think?

Well worth the wait.

IMO, it is the best looking heli on the market and it flys like the simulator.

Thanks, it is definetely the best looking. Hopefully they will come in soon. Has anyone else ordered a 90e fbl from Amain? just wondering how long it took. When i first asked they told me they had 16 on order and i was 6th on the list. Every time i check they tell me in two weeks.

Let me give you my feedback. Iv here of people getting on the list at Amain and getting a kit a week later. But my PERSONAL experience with getting on the list at Amain is no good. I got on the pre order list 6 months ago and was told I was 3rd on the list. To this day I haven't here a thing about it! Naturally after a month or so I got impatient and pre ordered one straight from carbon xtreme. I had it in 2 weeks! If you were to put another pre order in from CX it won't hurt. It can only help! I hope you stick it out in the end bc this machine is well worth the wait!

OK, great feedback. Never had a problem with Amain and its not there fault so i'll just order it with carbon. Left it with them so i could get me reward points and there monthly discount but i'd rather have the heli. Thanks

If you have your heart set on the Avant, then yes. It's worth the wait. However, keep in mind that there are other amazing quality products out there. To be honest with the lack of marketing that Avant has combined with their inability to push out products at the rate of other companies, I'm quite certain that another company will get my business. The avant is becoming an older design and while this may not speak negatively towards it's quality, it is not maintenance friendly as some others. I have an Aurora and love but it's not the only heli out there worth drooling over.

I really like the design of the Aurora, but things are always improving. The 7HV and Goblin were both on my list. I picked up my Aurora E second hand for a good price with the FBL head, or I would have gone with the 7HV I think.

It's a shame, Avant has a beautiful product, it's really hard to understand why they have not been able to make the kits and be more proactive with their customers and marketing. Would be interesting to know what is going on with the company. Hope things improve.

I have a brand new one in the box with an Insane Canopy, so 2 canopies included. I bought the Scorpion Motor, Castle ESC, and 2 Thunder Power 45C 4400mah 6s batteries to fit, and RCBooya quick release canopy pins. I just have not had any time to build it and have moved on to other things. I think I'm in it about $1700, mainly because of the batteries ($180 each) and the Insane Canopy ($200) If interested PM me. I will sell everything together at a discount. I can send photos to whomever is interested.

I was given that same advice and I've been on the backorder list at CX for over two months now. Contacted Augusto and he didn't have a good reason or answer for me. I don't think it matters where you order from, it's just luck if you get one or not. Good luck to you, but as for me, I'm tired of waiting. I've owned one before and they're great machines but I refuse to wait that long for a kit.
