ZYX dead after firmware upgrade - Page 3

Thanks DR. M between here and the other forums you must be a busy guy. I got the unit back after following the steps you laid out for me. The only thing I had to change was to keep the set button down while it went through the upgrade. If I released the button it would cancel out for some reason.
Thankfully I have it back and I can't thank you enough I thought I might be purchasing another FBL unit. The situation did strip my pitch servo when the unit twitched but it is much cheaper and easier to fix than the unit. Thanks again everyone here and the other forum I posted in. These forums have saved me more times and money than I can count.
On another subject referring to the FBL software from http://fbl.net.nz can you use the same software for ZYX and ZYX-S? I would hate to mess something else up.

Glad you got it working! Helping out fellow pilots is really part of the hobby for me.

Yeah, the FBL pc app by John_NZ will work for the ZYX-S in a CP single-rotor heli. It just doesn't have the airplane and quad setup features - you'll need to use the Tarot software if you want those.
