Hi Guys
Can you kindly let me know what flight times your getting on your xxtremes please. Im running the tp 65c 5000mah 7s packs. My head speeds are 1600 and 1800. 5:30 seems to be the limit. Are you guys managing to get 6 mins ? If so what head speeds are you using? Kindly let me know Thanks D

In the cold weather, I flew flights of 3 minutes and 20 seconds (all my thumbs could take) and my packs had about 30% left in them. My XXtreme is setup with a head speed of 1800, collective pitch of 13* using the YGE gov, and flying with an aggressive power oriented style.
I hope to get about 3:45 to 4 minutes during the summer Rob |

HARD 3d. 4 minutes putting back almost exactly 80% (one flight put back 7991mah. Next flight put back 8050). Sport flying gets an easy 7-8 minutes with some left over.
Tp 65c 5000s. ~1800 headspeed with 11.5 degrees of pitch if memory serves

I'm using the Gens Ace 5300 packs and I'm easily getting 7-8 minutes of sport flying at 1730 headspeed. I could probably get more, but I'll leave it there and slowly get more aggressive as I get more comfortable with it.

Yup bone stock Same head speed (Don't change it) does either: ~5200 Mah back in after this (7 minutes but I cut the video to match the song) I usually do more loops and rolls without the camera on (And banked turns/inverted hovering) so put back ~6000ish usually or ~8050 after 4 minutes of this (Previous flight same style put back 7960ish)

So each pack would actually be getting ~2600 Mah back (But since I charge them in parrellel I wind up putting back ~5200)

jtjohn1, I think you mean series.
Your 7S batteries need to be wired in series to obtain 14S.

The best I can get is 5:30 mins at 1700 and 1800 rpm. Flies great at 1700 put back any where from 4000 to 4200 per pack. Wish I could get it up to 6mins.
Say what 30 seconds I guess is neither here nor there. regards D

Well Well, after flying a bit more aggressively I notice my flight times are shrinking.
I never realized that tictocks will consume so much more mah's I can now fly for 5mis there a bouts. D

Yea, I hate that old rule that says, "You never get something for nothing". It's sooo unfair!!

lol yeah! tic tocs are the number one amp puller! it shows off how powerful you setup is, even with impeccable collective man, to get rapid tic tocs really pulls amps. thats why a pro flight routine is on average 3:30 to 4:00 min. Dont worry D just now you would be doing a flight that would barely make to 4min, but would be worth every minute of the flight!
