Ok guys.. After about 3 weeks of just trying to figure out where to start, I've finally settled on the T-Rex 450 Pro V2 SE Kit. So, before I get to the real question, let me give you some background....
I've been in RC for about 3 Years now. I first tried to go straight into Heli's, and realized very quickly that I needed to get more financially fit for that. So, have been working with Cars for almost all 3 of these years. I know right away that I need a good simulator (Realflight was what I used before) and that I'll need a good TX, that I can use with my later Heli's. I've done a little bit of research and knowing that where I live, It's windy (Kansas), I wanted to got straight into the 450's. Now, the real question. Where is the best deal!? I know which Heli I want. I know it's not cheap, but, might as well save every bit I can. Anyone know any good websites or where to get the best deal? I will probably look for a used TX (DX6i, or DX7s), but want to see if you guys could point me into the right direction for the kit and/or the simulator! I appreciate all of the help..and glad to finally post instead of all of the lurking I've been doing!! |

for a sim you cant beat phoenix....its about the best around...for a free sim follow this link.
http://www.marksfiles.net/HeliSim/ tx..i would recomend something in the high end market..futaba, hi-tec or jr. if its very windy where you live a 450 might be a bit small..15mph winds make a 450 a bit of a handfull. bash the sim for hours until you have some control over the heli...most new fliers crash within 30 seconds ![]() good luck
