Ok so heres the deal, after a slight crash I took my mSR completely apart (every screw) to get to the finer parts of the heli. I also took the time to replace the main frame and skids which needed me to take the tail off the 5 in 1 board and away from the old frame. Having replaced every thing to the new frame and rebuilt as per the explosion diagram it was time to spool up. Having re bound the controller (Dx6i) after crashing as per the manual, the blades turn the right orientation and the tail motor works, the problem arises as I increase throttle, the heli just spins to the left which then tips it off axis and all over the floor like a dying insect. No lift just fluttering all over the floor. Any help peeps is appreciated as usual.

You didn't plug the tail motor in backwards, did you?

No not plugged in backwards however on closer inspection thanks to Pfloyds photo uploads and loads of head scratching it turns out as I reassembled the mSR I've inadvertently placed the swash plate on upside down. So tonight it will come off go back on and be test flown, results to follow, thanks for all your inputs though it's appreciated.

It seems there is two choices with the mSR, it either just works and no one really knows why or it doesn't work and no one really knows why.

The best thing I did for mine was to cut 2 mm off the length of the blades and tightening up the anti rotation fingers to take the slop out of the links.

Another good way to eliminate bad hovering behavior is to keep moving..lol

Let's not forget thou its a helicopter and first and foremost basic hovering is essential to transition into forward flight as is it important prior to landing, I know this as I've worked in the back of real helicopters for 8 years now.

So, you're saying that your heli spinning? Or toilet-bowling all over the place? Please clarify.
If you're getting hover instability or toilet-bowl effect, you have binding, play or a combination of both. Remove the rotor blades, and upper pair of links. Verify that the grips pivot free and loose on the spindle by themselves. ANY friction or binding is BAD. Gently try to twist the rotor head and grips gently side to side. There should NOT be any play. If the shaft hole for the screw gets worn or the top of the shaft gets a crack, the rotor head can twist slightly out of phase-- this is bad. Report back with your findings...

It's not TBE it's a rapid left yaw on spool up then it tips over and just flips all over the floor until the throttle is shut off.

Check the trim on your rudder. Mine was doing that a while back and my rudder trim was all the way in the direction it was spinning. Just a suggestion.

Yes but I can fly many things but this just rolls over and never gets off the ground, can't even do any sort of flight.

All set at zero, takes full stick right to just get it off the ground a bit.
