Hey guys,
My 600e pro has an odd vibration at a certain low headspead when throttling up, and when throttling down. What could be causing this? Out of ballance blades, a bad bearing, etc?

I don't think its my motor. I wanna say its a bearing or the torque tube. Any other ideas?

Frequency of the vibe at which headpseeds is very important. Location is needed too.
First thing to do is minimize variables. Take the head off and run it up (you can bench run at 3 to 6s for slower testing speeds). If the vibe is not present, suspect the head/blades. If it's still there but is slower in pulse than tail rpms, suspect main gear, owb, auto gear wobbles, etc. If you find the vibes are high in speed even at lower head rpms, check the tail, then the TT for being straight(I've had ones out of true from the factory). The motor being out of balance can cause highfreq vibes, but are normally pretty low in strength since the motor has a low diameter of mass compared to the tail. It would have to be bad enough that you would likely see the offset on the motor.

Does it run ok when the headspeed is higher? I would start by balancing the blades, and while they're off for balancing, spool it up without the blades to check for vibrations. Out of balance blades can cause vibrations or wobbles at certain (usually slower) headspeeds. There will be some vibration at high headspeeds, too, but certain resonant frequencies can show up while spooling up or down. I'd bet balanced blades would make a big difference.
If that doesn't help, hopefully something will show up when you spool it up without the blades. From there, you just need to run through the things that commodore listed in order to troubleshoot it.

I will try balancing the blades. From everything you all said, it sounds like they are the problem. Will give it a try.
