3GX cyclic pitch help. reading around 14o

i will be helping a friend get his new 600 going. he said he sets the cyclic pitch to 8o and after set up its reading 14o of cyclic pitch after he is done with setup on it. and its out of set up mode.

is that normal for the 3G unit. neither of us are familiar with the 3GX unit..

That's why your supposted to set the limits in FM setup or linked to prevent binding, at 14 he probably is. Link up and hold the cyclic in one of the corners and lower the pit and aile limits incremently if it's binding, mine's around 12 deg
