The X7 is about average, depending on setup. Mine weighs 11.6 lbs with Gens 5300.

This motor sounds like a good one!

The Pinion is Worn out after 700 flights, the teeth are starting to get sharp. Changed it out, should be good to go. Bring your solder station!

I so want to get one of these new 750mx motors, (for the price at least) how good will they be against like the kde 495 motors, and some of the quantum motors. So far the mx is much better on price. I am wondering since I have the f3c V2 700 I wonder how that will affect mine since the motor I have is the 470kv 700mx? Any ideas or thoughts?

Not sure I'd bother with the KDE motor, it's too heavy compared to competing motors. The new 750MX is probably good, if it is balanced properly. If you want a "sure thing" powerhouse motor, get a Scorpion 4525-520 Ultimate. I just ordered a Curtis Youngblood "Next D" black one to replace my HKIII 4035-560.

most of local pilot with scorpion not happy with the heat,, from damn hot to super damn hot.

My Scorpion runs hot too, but it makes more power than the 700MX, at least according to my JLog2.

That does not sound right. Are you sure? I thought the E7 was one of the lighter 700 helis around.

HF member Magneto brought this to my attention two weeks ago. After that I double checked at my hobby shop what The out come of the weigh ins were. He confirmed 12Pounds. ( which is weird due the the 10mm main shaft an smaller parts) I thought the E7 had a kontronik 120 but it had one of the new scorpion speed controls on it. It was also weighed in with rail blades, Quantum motor and tp 5000 65C batteries. The owner has since sold the E7 so I wasn't able to re weigh it. I'm not sure what else he had on the bird that made it so heavy, but just goes to show how different each build can be.

I don't see how a Synergy E7 could weigh 12 lbs. I have the TT version with Hacker motor, rail blades and using Turnigy 4400 mah nanotech batteries it weighs 10.9-11.0 lbs.
I also have two Electric Whiplashes, one with KDE motor and it weighs 12.4 lbs with same Turnigy batteries. One with Scorpion 520 LE motor with HV setup weighs 12.2 lbs.

I am considering going to Align 750mx motor on E7 because Hacker gets so hot. I thought that 700mx worked good on my Trex 700e and E7 is lighter than 700e, at least on my scale.
Weight on any of these helis is not problem.
These motors and batteries can move all of them pretty well, you just have to decide which feel you prefer.
I like them all, but the Whiplash is my favorite, even though it weighs more. The quality can be felt in the sticks.
