So, I had an interesting maiden flight of my brand new T-REX 600 EFL. Took off, brought the heli into the middle of the field. Pulled back on the cyclic and SNAP. Lost all spring tension in the cyclic negative cyclic range. Almost lost the heli, but I was able to save it. When I got home and inspected the remote. The plastic piece that holds the pins completely broke. The remote isn't even a year old and the plastic is breaking...REALLY?

Edit: The part that broke was the plastic that holds the pin that pushes down on the springs. So, it can't even be a result of dropping the remote (not that I did) or pushing to hard. The most those pins do are push on the springs. Should have never broke.

Same thing happened to mine, but no heli in the air thank goodness. That radio is such a POS. Sold mine and got a JR9503. Never Spektrum again.

Wow that is crazy! I have always liked Spektrum. Never liked Futaba but I may try Walkera.

I would suggest Hitech or airtronics (people seem to really like these) over Walkera.

That happened on my JR 9303, thankfully it wasn't really an issue at the time since it was with a glider.
