2300 - 2350 6min flights on 3000mah I put 1800 back in, so I could get 7 - 8 min flight times. Only doing FF and circuits.

Running 100% Thr on stock gearing. 2600mah packs = 4min, 3000mah packs = 4.5min (always putting back >=80%)
I am only just starting to get to the point where I have been able to make the tail let go on fast tail slides. The thing did a perfect 180 while I was half way to levelling out scared the crap outta me as the tail had always been rock solid since I put a BeastX on.Maybe bigger tail blades would help with tail authority at lower head speeds ![]() I do know a lot of the 600E Pro guys are facing this same problem and most use bigger tail blades to fix it.

On my old 500 ESP I was getting 5.5 min flight times running 2700 rpm using a 2650mah pack with a scorpion motor
Sent from my little tablet, spelling may be much worse than usual. |

500EFL all stock getting 4 1/2 minutes putting back about 2000 in my 2600 packs running 85% throttle most of the time with some 100% (which is crazy HS, don't need it) Thinking of dropping down a tooth on the pinion.

I'm squeezing 7 mins out of a 3000 mAh cell pack (still over 80% charge). My throttle is very tame at 70% and so is my pitch curve -6, +10. Mainly short FFs and hovering. Getting more comfortable with the bird, so sport flying it is for a while.

That was the problem I was having as well. Even at 2800 it will blow if you really throw the collective around. I had to solve the problem by putting larger tail blades on as well as full size tail servo. Now the tail holds rock solid at 2800 no matter what I do to it. Unless I load the head up but to fix that just need some better batteries with higher c rating. Everybody that has an older esp that has turned it into a pro never seem to have problems with their tail, and I think its due to the higher gearing of their tail that allows them to fly the lower head speed and hold rock solid. Id be r unning flat out and I think the tail would hold fine but using the koby and leaving the 20% headroom for the gov Im stuck around 2800 headspeed. Only other option would be changing pinion but not sure the motor could handle the heavier load or not. |

4:30 on some flips and rolls, a few 95% idle ups in between.
