What flight times are you getting with the Leopard, what throttle curve, and what batteries?

I'm getting 4:30 at 2700hs with V-Bar governor using the stock motor/ESC on a 12t pinion. I'm not an all out smack pilot but I stilI tend to beat on my helis and the power is amazing.

I have had quite a few scary tail blow outs of the 500efl pro, I have to have it screaming as said to give a better tail hold.
So its a HS and tail servo issue? although im dissapointed at these issues it still makes me smile and thats what its all about right?

Are you using the Stock DS-520 servo? According to some a better servo will cure the tail blowouts. I may try a Futaba 9257 and see how I like it, I had this servo on my ESP and it was rock solid.

I have a ds650 on mine that was in perfect working and the tail still wont hold unless i, running 2700. This leaves me with less than 4 mins flight times with 2600mah.

You can still blow it out with full size servo I've done it when I really load up the head. It does help to put bigger Cf blades on the tail but still will not 100% cure the problem. I've found I've got to keep hs up around 2800 to hold the tail in all conditions. What we really need is a way to gear the tail up more so it can spin faster at a lower hs.

Sorry, I unsubscribed from this thread accidentally.

Where you have it is fine, except the left antenna (active) Is not clear of the frame. Rotate it 90 degrees to clear the frame.

This isn't the greatest pic but it should get the point across.
