Furion 6 main shaft

I picked up a used Furion 6. After going through it I noticed the main shaft has a very slight side to side, fore & aft play. The good thing is the main shaft has zero up/down play, it only has the movement I stated. Is this supposed to be this way? Kind of like the main gear needing to have up down play accorrding to MA.
