I started off badly with a Blade CP Pro2. I totalled that bird the first time I tried anything but hovering even when I was decent on the simulator. I quickly got rid of that one for an mCpx. Then mSr, Raptor 60, Mini Titan, now soon to build a Titan X50e

Learned on a Kavan Jet Ranger with a Webra .61, Kraft 7 channel radio, no gyro, mechanical mixing in the heli, on floats and over grass. Moved on to a Heliboy and then an X-Cell 60 which had my first mechanical gyro.

I had one of the ones with the handle and pull string. Pull the string and hope you can find it. I was hooked then.

I started with an E-Sky Belt-CP V2.

Because it flies like crap it's a great trainer!

Started with a Shogun than a HobbyBee and than the Belt CP. All of these helicopters were heaps of bullshit.

Did some research and went with a TREX 450 SE and that's where it all started for me.

I never knew that one but as I recall, American RC wasn't one of the better birds around. The top dogs were GMP and Schluter, at least here in the States and I don't remember being that impressed with the few American RC birds I saw in those days. It may be that the planker was just the proverbial straw.

No I did not have the TX servo reversing, But it was just coming out to drool over.
Don't know how many times I opened servos to reverse them.

That heli did fly like poo.

In my case, that's what the S26L servo was all about. Fortunately, my Horizon only needed one function reversed so it all worked out.

Oh my God yes ....I have been try to explain to my friends how this obsession started (they do't get it) . I have talked about this toy many times in the last few months . Best xmas present as a child . It truly began my addition .

My first rc bird was at xmas this last year , a 108g syma . I then bought a Art Tech coaxial and another (so dumb ) and now have bought two 120sr's ( so smart)
