I also found this under new items, but when summing up... against a trex 550 it aint that great value, getting a nice preowend trex550 would make more meaning.

I agree, unless you already have the electronics on hand or go super cheap hk electronics.

Imo, if you get a cheap hk airframe, you should get the cheap hk electronics too. Than you have a real cheap 550. Otherwise you could just aswell get the align supercombo for a bit more.

I agree with the cheap electro stuff, but it made more sense, if you can fly it say 50 times before stuff break, its ok, but if it looses parts, like their other helis very early.. well then it shouldnt be that price, but if it works, great!

Excellent point! I've read the Copterx 600e kit was thin carbon frames which caused people problems. If it weren't for the $40 shipping cost I would buy one already.

I'm sill considering the kit since it would let me select the components I want for fpv flying.

Anybody bought one yet ?? ...Myself, Im just waiting on the fbl - t.t version to come out. And like said, will then put in the electronics I choose. By the time i get blades and a decent canopy, ther really is not much of a dollar diffrence then if one were to just buy align in the first place. But i allready have the HK-450-500-600 so what they hey. Just as well finish off the family .

I got the Align tailbox and blade grips and boom holder for my Tarot 450 Sport after a crash. Wasn't impressed with the qualityof the Align parts vs Tarot so I just buy Taro spares for it now at less than half the price of the Align. (and in fact the real Align boom holder wasn't as good as the Tarot copy) Tarot also makes some interesting upgrades like thrust bearing blocks for the mainshaft, an upper frame that will take mini servos and a CF bottom plate.
