Blade 450x is the heli you should get

furion 450 is expensive heli to kit out and will not fly that much better than a furion 450.

Furion 450 is a quality bit of machine but its still a 450 and will fly like a 450

Gotta disagree with you on that one. My Furion 450 flys nothing like a Blade.
I paid $279 for the kit W/O electronics.

More like a 500. Absolutely no slop anywhere. Even with mediocre cyclic servos, it
is just locked in. I run 4s and 3300 headspeed. Un-boggable!

Yes I have. Don't get me wrong I am not bashing Blade. As a matter of fact they are
better now than they have ever been. But you are comparing a ready to fly heli, with
one of the top brands of kit. Some may agree with me some may not. But it's just
an opinion.

no one is accusing you of anything

so how much better does it fly than a blade 450x in your opinion can you give a percentage?

Only got to do some extreme hovering and fly around a little. It wasn't mine! The Blade being flybarless, and not set up as well as it could have been, felt, well, different. Not as
stable as mine, but the headspeed was way lower. Of course when you are used to your own heli and setup, flying someone else' s feels foreign.

Hard to quantify how much better, but I guess 15.6%

I've flown both briefly but never owned either (friend's helis), the difference is really noticeable, especially if you've logged stick time on various helis and have developed a taste for 450s. I would take one Furion over 3 or 4 B450s!

With Hitec HS-65mg cyclics, Spartan quark, Scorpion motor, Kontronik Koby 40
ESC, JR DS290 rudder, Spectrum 6210 receiver, Radix 325 main blades, and a few
Hyperion 4s batts, I am north of $800. One could kit this thing out using cheaper components. But that was part of building a high end kit. There are no upgrades available,
or needed.

If you go to the Miniature Aircraft forum and ask about the 450 you will get good responses.

I've researched many 450s, and the Furion's instructions alone would scare off many people, I enjoy the build, so I may have to get one.

Yes it is a true kit. There are no assemblys in the box. The instructions are quite good, and Brian from MA is always here on the forum to answer any questions.

I fly my 450x a lot and it's very plastic but easy to repair. Flys great I love it!. However I built a trex 450 pro v2 with beastx. And it has a hover like a trex 500 it's that stable. (with no wind). Anyways I agree a bird with no slop like the Furion or Trex have a better stability and predictability in the air. Both fly similar with beastx. But the b450x felt a little sloppier but only a little.
