The pinions for both the XXtreme 800 and the Logo 700 are 8mm.
Just about everything in the power train on the Logo 700 from the pinion up to the rotor head, and from the pinion back to the the tail rotor, is 100% from the 800 (not just the design of the parts, but the exact same parts). The result is an incredibly resilient power train on the 700...because the same power train is incredibly resilient, even on the 800. (-: Dave

Thanks, that kind of messes up my plans for using the 4540 in it. Any chance they will make a pinion for 6mm shafts? It certainly would open up a lot of 700 size motors for it.

yeah I really hope they will make 6mm an option.
Perhaps a standard 18T 8mm pinion with a sleeve could work... Could make it a teflon sleeve so you also have thermal isolation between motor and pinion. Otherwise a lot of motors cant be used or need to be modified to have a 8mm output shaft.
