Default DX7/AR8000 won't bind

Got a Leaders hobby 450 T-rex clone ($79.00 RTF version, with FlySky FS-CT6B), straight away it didn't work, rudder controls only. Put it on the PC, only channel 4 is actually doing anything. Set it up as heli 120, mixed all channels to each other, mode 2 (All info from the Mikey's RC 450 build, on youtube), still channel 4 only. Never mind, I thought, I've got a brand new DX7s here with AR8000 receiver, that I only purchased last week for my B450x.

So in goes the new receiver, complete with binding plug, all servos, ESC, etc connected, everything appears to be working well. Didn't even have to use the binding button. Unplugged all the wires, moved the rx to where I needed to mount it, plugged it all back in, nothing works. Tried to go through the binding procedure in the manual, but no LED flashing and no bind. So now I have 1 heli, 2 Tx's and 2 Rx's and still can't get anything to work.

Any ideas? This is my first 450 and my first build, so to say I'm frustrated would be an understatement!

Thanks in advance....

Ok Im kind of confused about the chain of events you describe.
When you initially connected the Rx and everything up with the bind plug in did it fastblink?
And then when you turned the Tx on without the bind button depressed it connecte

When you scroll to "RangeTest" on the DX7s does it change from full to reduced power when you press the trainer/bind button?

I know it sounds stupid but after you had it connected and working and then you replugged everything in are you sure you dont have the plugs in upside down? It is possible.
I hate to admit but I did it once.
It will cause what your describing.

Next thing to check is whether the BEC in the ESC is actually putting out power and enough of it.

I did something similar last night also! I was shortening a servo lead and when I put the plug cap back on, the red wire was on the outside and black in the middle. Didn't catch it until the AR7200 wouldnot power up.
