Default anyone convert there tx nimh battery to lipo

just curious if i can use my 2200 mah 28c lipo in my transmitter optic 6

Yes, a 3S lipo can be used, but only with a regulator or similar inline, refer schematic under:
Batteries_Lithium Polymer - Do Not Use 3S Lipo in Transmitters
28C is high for a Tx, much cheaper lowC usually used.
