Make sure to download and install the Drivers correctly. That has been the cause of most peoples problems connecting to the assistant.

This video may help.

So how did you go with this?

Any luck?

ok, finally loaded the driver properly, did the naza setup, pretty easy, just tested it out(no props)first thing, no light on the power module unless i put it in atti, then a flashing red light, is that normal? when i armed the motors, (sticks down and left /right no responce, i had to repeat 3 times to arm the motors, should i increase the throttle trim? i know, im almost there, i learned long ago, patience is a virtue, i would not be half this far without good people like you guys on this forum

At this point you basically have to make sure all the trims are correct. When you click start and do the stick calibration in Naza assistant, centered positions should result in green slide indications for all four. If not, then adjust the trims on the radio. Then on your control mode switch, when you flip your gear lever, it should move the pointer back and forth between A and M. If not, then again, adjust the trims on your radio until they do. Once that is done then click finish and then write. At this point you should be able to disconnect and arm the motors.

ok, i know i did everything right, so now fly time. arm the motors, give her some throttle, right side picks up and in a split second does a complete side rollover, all the motors are going in the proper direction, props on according to motor direction, now what up?

You have something wrong, it is the only answer I can think of, if you have everything right it will just work.

I had the same problem when I first tried to maiden mine, would just flip right over. Turns out I had the motors off by one as you go around the X(I'm assuming you're in X configuration versus +) and I was sure I had them right.

Should look like this:

Front
m2 m1
. . X
m3 m4
Back

Odd motors turn counter-clockwise, even motors turn clockwise. Motor plugs on Naza controller must face forward, towards the front.

And there is your answer, motor connections must face the front.

Simple though and easy fix.

Yup, has to know which way is forward to react correctly, and for best results make sure it is as dead straight and as firmly mounted as you can get it.

ok, moved the naza so the motor inputs face forward, armed the motors, spun it up, all the motors going the right direction, then i shut her down, at this point its 3 in the morning in my garage with very little flight space.(im on afternoon shift so i dont get home till 1240 am), so im gonna leave my flight test till sat afternoon, i know she will fly right i would just rather wait until daylight. i will let you know how she flew. many, many thanks again to all

ok, finally, saturday!! took my flamewheel to the backyard, armed the motors and up she went!! smooth as glass, what an incredible flyer although somewhat docile. neighbours looking as im flying asking me what the hell this thing is! very very nice quad, glad i sold my trex 250 to help fund this project. i may get rid of my fleet of helis because quads are so much more fun to fly. battery only lasted 6 min or so (3s 2200mah 20c) so i guess a stronger battery is next. i would definetly like to improve agility, especially on the rudder, how do i do this? also next up for me is a micro brushless quad, can anyone recommend one i can bind to my dx6i? about the same size as the blade mqx.

I have some 1450kv motors that makes it move quicker, going to use them in a DJI330 frame.

I am not sure that there is a micro brushless that will bind to your DX6i, I do think that the Walkera Ladybird complete with a decent radio looked interesting, the radio will bind with other Walkera heli models as well.
