Default Setting Throttle Endpoints

I programmed my PowerJive 120hv to mode 1 then mode 4 then I tried to set the throttle enpoints on my Futaba Tx... Couldn't get it to arm.
My setup;
I have the BEC pin removed from the connector

Throttle Ch reversed (Futaba thing)

The receiver was powered with a nicd Rx pack

The 3 conductor wire w/BEC pin removed is plugged into the throttle channel

I used a 3S pack to plug into ESC ( could this be the prob?)

Throttle Ch endpoints set down around 50/50

Plugged the 3s packin with th stick low, advanced end point to max with no response from ESC

the 3s pack worked fine for mode 1 reset and mode 4 setup but I remember that CC HV controllers require a 4s battery , I think, to program .

Is there any obvious reason that this method would not work?

Can the jumper be stored on the ESC? If so does it have to be toward the center?

Thanks,

Jimmy

Did you have th. endpoints at 100/100 when programming? If not, do so.

I think 3s should work. Jumper can be "stored" plugged in, which pins don't matter.

Throttle endpoints were at 100/100 during programming and also have a linear, 0-100 throttle curve. Throttle hold is programmed but set to OFF during attempt to calibrate.
Thanks,

Jimmy

Well..., 3S can be already one S too less for a HV JIVE..

Sorry: Objection, Your Honor. Use the labeled pins.

Don't bother calibrating the TX endpoints. It doesn't really gain you anything, other than an ESC that won't arm.

Minimum 4s battery for the jive it is. I'll try it after work. I always go 3 or 4 past the point where it arms.

So leave the jumper plug on the pair of pins with arrows (towards the side of the case) or one arrow and the line towards the center of the case
Thanks

I stand corrected! At least I got one thing right...
