JR or Futaba

I´m a newb when it comes to RC flying.

I just decided to go for a DJI F550 and would like to use it with a gopro for FPV...
Now im looking into what TX i would want to use.

I´v been looking into two options.

1 JR XG7 2.4G MDSS 7ch & 8ch RG831B receiver (JRXG7M1)

2 Futaba T8J 2.4G s-FHSS 8ch TX & R2008SB S.bus receiver (FU8JM1)


Now i read somewhere that FHSS only uses 1 chip and MDSS uses 2, making the first a better choise.. is that true.

And would an extra channel 8 iso 7 really be needed.
