Question V2 or wait for V3

So I'm finally ready to move up from my 500 to a700, I'll be making the purchase in 2 months But I'm not sure if I should wait for the v 3? I believe it's going to have a full dfc swashplate and direct to swath servo set up. I do fly some moderate 3 d and I'm constantly trying to get better with that. Now I'm sure the 700 v 2 would work just fine And when I purchase it I was going to get the dfc head and slant cut gears right off the bat.
This would bring the total to just over 1400 dollars. My question is is it worth it for me to wait for the v 3 to come out and when is it going to come out and how much more is it going to be? Thank you guys for any helpful input.

The v2 already comes with a slant gear.
You would just be out the dfc.
You can actually find the v2 under 1000 now so I would imagine as we get closer you would do even better. It's really up to what you want to spend. And you won't know what the new one will cost yet.
I paid 879 for my v2 and that's all I really wanted to spend so if the v3 would've been available I would've still bought the v2.
It will be very nice I think the hv servos are much more interesting than the direct to swash. That is the Main selling point in my opinion.
Read around and be a smart shopper you can come out way ahead on a v2 kit.

What is the general opinion of the direct just swash servo connection, and how much do people think the v 3 it's gonna cost? I'm finding it difficult to pull the trigger on something that's going to be updated in the very near future. It's not like the v2 is a bad heli, I just don't wanna have any regrets it is a lot of money.

I'm going to wait a little while to see how all the reviews panout. And I'm very happy with my V2!

i do agree, align should have done this setup a long time ago but the thing is thst align has a diferend market than SAB, Synergy and Miketo. Their helis sell and when it come down to it its all about the dollar. This is just my opinion. Anign has always been a bit behind the curve but thay always come around. Align is only a high, very high end Blade. Im going to wait for the v3, ever since i saw a heli with dfc and dts i thought it just made sense.

What's that going on around the top edge of the frame around the servos? Does that look like a frame stiffener/support? And there again down by the front canopy mounting pin? Frame support or wire management? Tail servo looks to be mounted a little differently as well.

I know The one by the front canopy mount is for ease of battery installation, without having to worry about getting your balancing leads etc caught up on the frame ( which has happened to me a couple of times when in a hurry) But I didn't notice the ones up top until now. I like how all the moldings are black and blend in with the carbon, looks a lot cleaner!

I like it..!! Is this an illusion or the gyro mount look closer to the motor?

It's like align want us to keep the MX motor with their heli, the upper main bearing holder leg seems very close to the motor can.

Anyone notice they aren't showing esc in this pic. It must go in the front the way the batteries are wired out the front. Anyone else think they may go another direction , maybe their own hv esc.

Looks like it is straight up and down between 3GX and motor.
