compass 3dplus clutch one way bearing screwed

as above i have been through 3 new clutch bearings.why is this happening?!

I would dismantle the fan and clutch to check if something is out of order, sounds like I heard a couple of years back where something was placed upside down in there so bearings and clutches were eaten raw. Double check to manual

The clutch stack block should be mounted with the smaller cut out pointing towards the front of the heli, but if you have that backwards your gear mesh would likely be all screwed up and you would notice it pretty quick. Just throwing it out there.

What kind of starter are you using? Does it "hammer" alot?

I have had two clutches break, but no issues with the one way bearings.

I had an expensive starter that didn't have a one way in it made by a certain helicopter manufacturer. It tore up 3 one way bearings in my clutches with in 3 weeks. I don't use that starter any more. 'Hammer' is the proper word. It worked like a hammer drill.
