Default Team Mikado @ the XFC

For the "Mikado types" out there who may be interested in one of the emphasis' of the company Mikado, it is recruiting, developing and supporting a "Team", with a high priority on pilots who are willing to put in the effort, and capable of showcasing Mikado's heli's at the major world-class competitions.

To that end, Mikado has the following pilots attending the Extreme Flight Championships (XFC), being held this coming weekend at the AMA's Headquarters in Muncie, Indiana.

Jacob Gitin (age 12, the newest and youngest Team Mikado member, winner of last year's IRCHA Amateur Nationals, and now attending his first XFC).
Jaime Robertson.
Jesse Kavros.
Ben Storik.
Kyle Dahl.

Note that of the 15 pilots selected to compete, one third of them are representing Team Mikado, flying electric FBL helis (of course, so are most the other pilots). This is something no one would have predicted a few years ago, when few had faith in electric helis, much less FBL control systems...both of which Mikado has pioneered in the industry.

Also note the Ralf Buxnowitz (owner of the company Mikado), will be present, as he is at all major competitions his Team attends. You don't see that from the owners of the other companies. For Ralf, helis are a passion, not just a business.

The weather is looking great for the event, and Frank Noll and his staff has done a super job getting the event ready to run. Almost game time (-:

Well done Jamie and Kyle!

Kyle's was a big jump up the score on sunday, I'd be interested in knowing how he pulled that off.

Great Job Team.

It was nice to see Nick Maxwell finally pull off a first place win. Especially after the previous attempts and mechanical failures in the past years.
