XG8 update issue

Hi folks, recently had the XG8 and have downloaded the software updates from MacGregor UK. Have transferred the updates to my formatted SD card but can not seem to apply them to my Tx in the way shown on the help video. Any ideas, am I missing something stupidly simple ???

Just noticed..........the file is saving as Adobe Reader X, is this correct ??
