Hi, Is anyone out there running their 720 with the Dx7s or Dx8 on 11ms frame rate with ONLY the 2 Sats (DSMX) ? Was wondering if you still need the larger main Rx such as the AR8000 or the AR10000 with (or without) the Sats to actually get down to 11ms . . . Thanks

22ms , 2 sats, one left, one right side of the frame.
150 flights, never a loss or hold. |

=] no external receiver needed, both sat's plug directly into the SK ports, select DMS2 or DSMX mode, it will only bind to the Tx protocol being used....

I use a DX8 with two DSMx satellites. I bind at 2048 res and 11 ms. Works great.
You don't need an extra receiver. |

Me too...
DX8, two DSMX sats, bound @ 11ms 2048. Works great: But just make sure after everything is setup properly in the software you rebind the whole thing at the last step. Otherwise you could get a ratched tail-servo movement... Soko

I was originally using the AR8000's mainly to monitor the antennae signals health via the TM1000. However, by using the AR8000 Rx, I was giving up a lot of the functionality of SK-720, and I needed to plug more wires to the SK-720 which adversely affected sensed vibrations. Since switching to just using the DSMX satellites, I am only plugging 3 servo connectors to the SK-720 and my wiring looks much neater. I am still using the TM1000, but cannot receive antennae health in real time. However, I can follow antennae health post flight via the Skookum Playback logs. I sold all three AR8000's on eBay, and I am glad I did.

Yes, same here. Two sats directly linked to the Sk720 and running with my Dx7. Out well past 1/2 a mile a few times and no signal loss. Even with the cheapie HK orange sats!
