Hi, I am new to the HeliJive.
I was running an electrics bench test with all of my gear out of the heli. When I spooled the motor up after programming (mode 4 and KSA), I noted that the spool up was not very linear and tended to "jerk" at certain intervals until it got to the desired motor speed. Almost like the motor lost power? I come from the Castle Creations world where the spool up was very smooth and linear. Is this normal behavior while the motor is under no load? Thanks Scotty

I think this is normal, especially when there is no load on the motor. When I do "motor only" vibe testing on Jive-equipped helis, the motor always spools up with very defined "ramps".

My spool up is not actually "ramped" more sloppy than anything else. It seems to be hunting for an RPM. Even when I turn the governor off it still hunts. I will shoot a video and post it tonight so you can see what I mean.
