Plus one for Ready Made. I had questions about the systems and the owner/operator was fast to reply to my emails and offer the help needed.

Could you be more specific? Ready Made seems to offer quite a load of different products.

Wow, really? Ok, like which transmitter, receiver, antenna on model, antenna on groundstation, tripod, OSD, goggles, go diversity or not, use a separate video/audio link from RC control or not. There seem to be a tremendous amount of options, and just pointing to a specific vendor/reseller such as Ready Made doesn't seem to help all that much.

Can someone please step in and teach this guy some manners? I think he wants to be spoon fed...

If wanting some recommendations from guys who have some actual experience with FPV already instead of starting from ground zero is wanting to be spoon-fed, then yes I do. I'm new to this side of the hobby and would love to be more educated. This is a user community forum where people share knowledge about what they know to those who would like to also know, after all.

For your information, I don't mind helping out others who ask for help about something I know about, which you'll see if you look at some of my posts in the other heli threads. And I don't even complain if they ask for clarification on a post if I'm being extremely obtuse.

Never mind. I just found FPVLab.com. They have recommendations on just about everything. I'll use them as my FPV resource. Thanks.

Look at my posts and you will immediatly realise how I LOVE helping others.. In as much details as I can. And if you read the initial question that I answred, you'll notice the guy was only after recommendation for a hobby store. So me (along with others) did just that, recommended a store.

Here's what he said incase you missed it:

Then you come along and start this "Wow, really?" bs. If you want to get some info then ask nicly instead of trying to be clever with words...

Sure hope you guys are right. I just ordered my first system from RMRC based on the fact that you guys seem to like them alot, and I liked the selections they had. I like the he has ready to go systems so you don't have to figure out what to buy for your first time. As I learn more about FPV I will probably build my own next time (select the components I mean).

Can't wait to get this stuff hooked up and try it.

Question for you guys: which do you prefer, flying with googles, or looking at a monitor?

Steve
