Default Skills, or pure luck? You decide.

So. I decided to take a little flight before the sunset. Two minutes into the flight...boom...lost the rudder. Literally. It was pure luck, but I like to think my skills are improving. Lol.

Hopefully the attachments loaded. You can see my luck. Lol.

Lost rudder cuz tail prop blew up? Or tail motor died and prop broke at touch down? Either way, those indeed are the "Kodak" moments hahaha, nice work!

Tail prop literally exploded. (watched it. Ha!) It had a crack in it when I installed it, so I put some glue on it. Just a double-back-up-check kinda deal. Lol. Evidently it didn't hold.

Chalk it up to "tail blew out". Nice save.

Skill or pure luck?

Probably both!

I had the tail went out a few time when the SR is flying inverted, no damage from crashing down. I have posted a video in one of my inverted tail blow out crash, do a search here.
