Default Hobbywing 40A Platinum PRO Best ESC for 450?

what do you guys think of the HW 40A Bec Pro Platinum for 450s, i am running 2 already in my 3D pro Clones, and building a HK 450 i did have a cheap as HK40-50A ESC (no BEC) which i cannot for the life of me program properly for soft start, i am really happy with the HW Platinums in my other 450s.. do you agree it would be the one to go for good value and functionality.. for about 38 bucks...

I would have to agree...This is the second summer for me using the 40a pro esc in two of my 450s. So far they have never let me down. If one died today I would order more. Great ESC.

I ordered this esc from Hobby King twice and both times to my surprise they sent me the same as hobby wing platinum pro esc only it has a turnigy label and it is not the right picture in the link it has 2 capacitors instead of one as they show in the picture and it is only 20 bucks!!! Here is the link

P.S. I gave the link to my friend and he also got the same esc as me. I guess hobby king did not update the picture

Just got one, and the prog card thing too. I have not installed it, and I plan to try the VBar gov with it... But the form looks perfect, and the program options are great, I really like the ease of the card!

This is one of the excellent combination now, I have used some kind of ESC (CC, Jazz 40, 55...) and also YGE + Vbar Gov, but HW+Vbar Gov is my favorite configuration at the moment due to the best performance + low budget

The 40 is just a touch to wide for the 450, it can be shoehorned in there, but the frames bulge a bit...

Performance is better than good, it's awesome, using the 450MX 1700
