I think you might be forgetting the additional heatsink (or JCooler) you require on the 120HV

Anyway, I reckon if I leave off the front left carbon plate I should get some of that 60 grams back straight away. Just kidding...

The Kosmik is really just a backup cos I don't think the 80HV I have will cope with the current draw from the A50-530 LE. We will soon see.

Have you actually held that Kosmik 200? I did at IRCHA, and I was hard pressed to quickly think of a heli it would easily fit in... It is quite huge, and very, very heavy... I guess I don't know why you want to add all that wait... (and cost) when there are better options out there..

Of course... it's your heli... do what you want, I'm not gonna bash you for it... I'm just wondering if you really, really realize just how BIG it is....

Personally, my opinion (ambiguous on purpose), the jive is a perfect fit. But, it is not my heli, just my opinion...

good luck,
Joe_Breezy

For me I think I'll be running
Pyro 700-52
Jive 80HV
thinking of trying MKS servos
Definitely rail main and tail blades
I have a few extra FBL controllers, I may finally try the HC3SX, or just go with the tried and true Vbar...

Can't wait till orders start shipping... was kinda bummed not to see them at IRCHA... but hopefully they were spending their time putting kits together...

No I haven't seen it yet as it is stuck in DHL in Germany and has been for some weeks - nobody has any idea where it is in fact (I hope it is not due its incredible weight and size )

I have to agree with you on the Kosmik. When I read about it in the forums early on, the same questions popped up in my head. So much so, in fact, that I just had to have one to try to find the answers. If I find out, I'll let you know

The Kosmik has finally arrived, and it isn't quite the monster that I was lead to believe. Below is the Kosmik, HobbyWing and a Jive 80HV. The weight difference is as expected...

Where the HELL is that going to fit? I'm curious to know what you imagined as being a monster, if this isn't as Mostrous as you expected. Lol
Looks nice though.

I can tell that you guys have been sleeping with your Jive's for way too long

Perhaps I should have brought a CC ICE HV, YGE and Scorpion ESC into the picture.

Where is it going to fit in/on the Dune? Hmmm, that's a tough one... answers on a postcard.

Good info! Nice to know that someone is going to do all the hard work for me/us. I think the Hobby Wing ESC definitely deserves a mention, based on its cost-comparison alone.
