Hi All,
Thought I had done my research but now that I'm trying to go brushless with http://www.clubheli.com/Oversky-XP-7...rs_p_2546.html I don't see any provisions for signal on the ESC. I'm not sure at this point if this ESC is set up (flashed?) to work with the brushed output from my V2 board. I included "Comments: Just want to confirm that the motor, ESC and pinion is all I need to convert a MCPx to brushless." with my order so I assume that I should have what I need but now I wonder. I have tried to search to no avail... all help is appreciated. Not sure I can make it thru the weekend with my MCPx down |

I am pretty sure you will either need to flash that ESC (or have someone do it for you) or get a thesteve convertor for that to work. Good luck.

Looks and read like it is flashed but there is no motor signal lead per say attached. It looks like the ones that would have the motor signal lead connected to where the white servo (programing lead) is connected.
I dislike vendors who do not suplies info covering such details but I guess the assume if you are doing your own BL conversion you have done the necessary research. . |

To me the description of that XP7A is pretty clear. It is your standard regular old XP7A that we have been using for a long time. Nothing fancy and I definitely don't get the feeling it is flashed with BLheli. It is just plug and play connectors for the power. I don't have one personally but I would suspect you pick up the signal the same place you do on every other Xp7A. I might be wrong though.

But it says
Description15% increase in speed over the original XP-7A! Excellent ESC for your mCPX upgrade! Here is the low down . For The same $20 you can order a XP7 A flashed with BL Heli code from Astroid Designs but it is not P n P. |

Some come from different vendors with motor signal lead attached but no programming leads attached. Some come rigjht the opposite. I have not seen any with both motor signal and programming leads attached same as they have battery (power input leads) soldered on but no ESC to 3 n 1 leads attached.
