Default Going to IRCHA on Saturday - should I take the 550?

So I'm not an AMA member yet, and therefore not registered to fly. I *might* have my membership by then, but most likely not. If I take the 550, is there anywhere I'd be allowed to fly it? I'm thinking of taking it along anyway to at least have some fellow 'freaks look it over and see if anything needs improving or adjusting.

Should I take it?

Certainly we can help get it setup properly etc.. but as for flying.. are you just going Saturday? Fri-Sat are no fly days for me... deep lines.. that's why I am arriving on Monday... to fly for some days before the huge crowds show up

I understand about the deep lines in the main flying area (site #3, right?), but I recall seeing some 'workshops' and the like off to the west in a couple of small areas.

It wouldn't kill me to not fly, but it'd be great to at least get in a hover or two and some slow piros.

I definitely need to look you up when I'm down there Slyster. I'm sure you'll know how to find the rest of the 550 folks for me as well!
