Default New blade choice

I haven't been flying my 255 much at all since I got my 2 Protos, but I happen to come across something today that I really liked seeing. Edge has come out with 253mm SE blades. They are flybar blades, buy basically everything we have now is also flybar. I emailed edge a few months ago with the request for these blades and it's nice to see them actually listening. The price is pretty steep ($40), but I know from experience that edge blades are the best and worth the money. I guess I'm going to have to get my 255 back out, knock off the dust, do the FBL conversion, and order a set of these blades.

If they are designed for the blade 300X they wont fit the X2, the root is too thick.

Thumbs up

After numerous requests from Gaui X2 owners, Edge decided to make the 253's specifically for the Gaui owners. Tested on numerous pilots, including JC Zankle in pre-production

The blade 300x will be able to use them with the right spacers

Good choice by edge

Well I wonder if FBL versions will come, because according to this, there are differences.

Good point, I'm greatful that we have edge blades now

It may not be that big of difference on a heli this size with a disc this small.

But that's not something that can be argued until we have fbl blades to compare.

Everything is just speculation until they are made.
