Cool, enjoy the build. I put 12 flights today on my v1 and its an amazing machine. Check the fusion 50 sticky on what to look for to prevent any gear issues. I had to do the boom block mod but the it only takes a few minutes and more then likely wont be an issue with a newer kit. By the way im still using all white gears and have no troubles. Put alittle white lithium grease on the tt gears to break them in

I have a Fusion 50, so I'm already aware of the gear issues. I fly my Fusion with the white gears too. I haven't looked, but I'm pretty sure this kit will come with black gears.

So, I've been slowly but surely building my velocity. Tonight I tried to install the clutch hub on the engine. The engine is a TT Redline 53 and the hub's hole for the engine is just too small. There is no way I'm going to install it. The engine's shaft and the hole are both 6.35 mm diameter.

Anyone else have this issue? Do I just need to get another hub? Do I need to get a different engine?

Maybe try warming the hub in the oven? 10 minutes at 150C

After looking into this a little more. The fan must be installed on the hub before the hub is installed on the engine. How am I going to keep the fan from melting?
