Whenever I fly Phoenix there are a specific the helicopters feel unrealistically powerful and floaty to me.
I can set a Raptor to like 1.5hp and do tik-toks all day long, but in real life my 450 Pro which should be much harder to bug, well, I can barely do Rainbows. It also feels like the helicopters don't fall like they do in real life. Does anyone else agree with me? I've heard some people say that Phoenix is harder than real life, but I'm really not seeing it, just in terms of boggability and gravity. I'm thinking of trying to reverse the code *just* to tweak the gravity value It's got beautiful graphics, pretty models, good controller support, but I wish they made the physics equations tweakable. |

I find it close to real taking into account the models in it are 100% perfect and the real ones are seldom setup 100% perfect

Just adjust any heli in Phoenix to feel just like your real heli. There are so many options to tweak its rediculous. If they feel to floaty and yes some do ust increase the weight of the model until it feels right.

I'm playing with the weight and such. I know that my heli is not 100% perfect, which definitely accounts for some of it, but even with a lot of tweaking, I know my heli falls faster at zero pitch, and no matter how perfect the setup, a Raptor .50 with 1.5hp (my change) could not hold a full collective ascent (12 deg) at 1700 rpms.

Then give it more power. The numbers don't have to be the same as a real model.
Make it fly the way you want. That is why the control panel is there. Change just one parameter at a time though. This way you know what change did what.
