Align doesn't have it posted yet. It's usually up on their site shortly after the kit actually hits the streets.

I'll keep an eye out for it though.

What do you need?

It's really not much different than the 3GX PRO.. Just use that manual, it will get you 95% of the way there.

Assembling the DFC head, and the new tail linkage assembly is pretty straightforward. If you've done an Align heli in the past, you won't need the manual.

Talking

Same here
HD pics on the 450 Pro DFC would be nice
I need to see the new wire placement
And
I would like a view of the split Al block
And
Tail
And
Plz
Someone scan the 3 or 4 manual pages that show those parts.

I have 3 Align's but they are the older Pro's. I have wired one like the new 450 Pro DFC
But
The servo wires are just to cram close to the gears.
I would like to C how Align fixed that.

Was looking for this earlier, too, and just ended up scanning my 450 DFC upgrade set manual.

EDIT: Oops, I just realized you wanted it for something regarding the bearing blocks. This is just for the head. Sorry.

Talking DFC bearing blocks do fit V1 Pro.

Direct fit. And what a blessing they are, trust me! Pinion adjustment is a snap now, only have to remove 5 screws on the front piece of the block assembly and both servos slide right out as a single unit and can hang off to the side if you plan your wiring properly with just enough servo lead to hang off the side. Another plus for us that have servos with mounting holes that are larger than the mounting screws is that before with the old blocks, once you removed the servos, they never go exactly back in the same spot which equates to up to a 1mm of variation in the servo-to-swash linkages. With these blocks, that is no longer a problem. Another plus is you don't lose your main shaft alignment in the bearings once you do the "Drop the main shaft in with no head on it and it should fall through the bearings under it's own weight test". The best $17.99 I ever spent. On a Pro V1 frame, you will need sand/cut the frame just a little for the elevator servo lower mounting screw to clear the frame since the elevator servo will now bolt in from outside the bearing block instead of being sandwiched between it. What I did was used a file and elongated the servo vertical cutout in the frame at the bottom where the lower mounting screw goes until i filed into the existing hole. Once I was partly into that hole, i then took a round tapered file and filed down against the edge i just filed down until i opened the existing hole up into a bigger radius to accomodate my washer and mounting screw to easily pass through. You COULD buy a new frame side, as they have changed the design just a little by bringing the frame a little closer to the main gear to make up for the servo cutout being a little deeper. I have had no ill affect of removing that material, as once the blocks are tightened down to the frame they become a single load-bearing unit anyways. I could try to take pictures of my wiring scheme if anyone is interested, not sure how well my camera would do a macro closeup though, but i'd be willing to try if anyone asks.

Went ahead and added pictures for anyone interested:

By the way, how do I Embed an image rather than just inserting links to it?

Worked for me, but took a long time.

... and just noticed that it's the wrong manual. it's for a 450 plus dfc with a belt tail.

Thanks, Ron! This helped me realize the 2X8mm collar screws for the tail links were short. Big design flaw!
