TDR speed fuselage project

Here power and drag become very important.


Wait and see, there will be definitely something completely new (revolutionary like the TDR a few Years ago) from Jan Henseleit!!!!!

So You all can stop Your work, the "new" Henseleit will be unbeatable!

Jan told me its coming in a fuse already and is completely different to the TDR but I could not wait till next year.

Same here. There are very few things I'd be willing to buy -- sight unseen -- and the next heli from Jan would be one of them.

I've already booked my suite. Luckily it is only a 6 hour drive for me

Not to lose any momentum on my early adopter status, I sent Jan an email asking if he had started a list for the new heli already, and if so asking to be on it. Why not!

I asked Jan about his "next" heli this past summer; he (understandably) said that all details weren't finalized yet, only that "it won't be a glow heli for sure! ;-)"

A waiting list was already started in the summer; I'm glad I was on it back then because with these Team Henseleit posts today... that waiting list is definitely growing!

I remember hearing from Marcos at IRCHA that Jan was working on something, but... I guess my cogs weren't turning as fast as yours were. Oh well.

Speed only heli....whole heli designed around the angle of heli in forward flight. Will be small and fast but no 3D thats what I got from him..

We will see Danny but that's what he was talking about at IRCHA. Problem is it would not be a big seller so maybe he makes on just for himself who knows we will see. It would be a pretty expensive heli that probably would not even fly inverted lol. Kyle and I are working on something for next year's speedcup can't wait..

I emailed him and he plans is to introduce this to the public at the end of next year.

It's possible that he will compete next year with it as a "proof of concept"

Just like you said, Jan's will probably be small & fast... and pretty slippery I'm sure.
